purple speeds should ALWAYS be rolled unless you are endgame or just p2w. a purple can be +20 or more and a full set of those + even maxed blue speed set is like 250+ speed.
When farming b13 also, consider which hero are you building? When i was building ML Kayron, i was praying to RNGsus to give me lifesteal gear with flat defense because it was more efficient than def%. Same goes with Violet. I wish we get a dps that scales off effect resistance because i have so many dps gears on resist set😂😂
i am usually looking to build characters like specter tenebria (destruction has the most value on her), ml landy (needs counter set), apocalypse ravi (destruction/counter) and remnant violet (lifesteal) to name a few!

For Heroic you'd usually want 3 Synergizing Stats for example cdmg cc and atk% because you'll get a 4th stat on +12 and thus you'd minimize the risk of the piece "dying" on +12

I've been looking for so many gear rolling videos online and I haven't seen anything related to rage gears, which is why I want to see someone rolling those azimanak pieces and would explain further what we should do as newbies to choose for rage gear and not just only coping to the gear we accidentally rolled.
As a mid-game player, I've kind of just been building gear as it comes, trying to get more +15 gear built up for swap-out characters, and possibility for later optimization on my main heroes, rather than trying to focus on grinding for godly gear for a few characters. Right now I really don't have too much +15 gear and I'm level 60. I've been saving only lvl 70 gear and above and purple and above of those levels. I just don't want to waste the stamina grinding for gear when it will probably come to me naturally just by gearing more heroes. Am I going about it wrong? Or is this sound?
How can I determine if flat (atk, hp, def) or percentage is a better substat/main stat for a unit? I actually have a ton of right side gears with nice substats but flat main stat and idk which units could honestly work with it
Its depends on the character you want to use really. For specific case like Celine or ML Kayron, flat defense substat is actually better for them because they are a Thief with Scorpio constellation which had the lowest base defense in the game around 460 or 470 iirc. Average character would have 500-700 base def depending on their role and constellation. In this case flat defense is better because %stat scales with your base stat. Low base = less effective %stat is. So you need to know which character you want to enhance first then spare some time to know their base stats, then decide from there. I think someone already made the calcs or youtube video about it but I forgot which one.
Like the other person said, it's build and unit specific. Hwayoung and max atk Senya for example want flat main atk right side. New AYu if you're snipping atk on her ring also wants flat atk. She probably can run flat def ring too in a pinch if the subs turn out good.
@linusgustafsson2629 you get more bang for your buck by pairing flat main and % subs. Still need good rolls of course - it's not a huge difference. But if you're min/maxing it'll push you a bit higher.

Rare:
Sell - 11333 gold + 5 charms
Extract - 7 cores
Heroic:
Sell - 16999 gold + 5 charms
Extract - 9 cores
Epic:
Sell - 28332 gold + 5 charms
Extract - 10 cores
For me, I always sell Epic and Heroic and extract the Rares, comparing the gold to cores ratio.
