Futures are aways traded on margin, but you can get accounts that will let you trade with as little as $50 to $100 or so on some brokers. Just wont have much cushion for drawdown until they liquidate you if you start super low. I would recommend if starting out with micro contracts at least a few hundred to start, if not $1,000+ to give yourself more cushion.
futures have too much leverage if you don't have much money, you're ~8x leveraged with a futures contract. You will still have very good returns trading without any leverage
@@gentronsevenfor one you have no clue what you are talking. None of it. Every futures product has a different amount of leverage. MES notional is about 21k. You only need 10% of the initial margin.
@@Reutzel507yes they all have different and fluctuating amounts of margin requirements so he definitely shouldn't do it. Having to only put 10% in is 10x leveraged. Right now nasdaq micro requires 2442 capital to 21490 which is 11% ~9x leveraged. It'd be completely stupid for someone without a lot of money to gamble trading that.
Thanks for this chart 📊 outlook
No prob!
Thank you for the video, sir! Stupid question: Can a person trade futures with a cash account?

Thanks for the analysis!
If SPY chops next week between $585-$590, that will confirm a bear flag IMO and more downside will come ....
I see it. Lower highs as well lately
