I'm 3 months loc'd. I started with mid back/breast length 4c hair. That after washing shrunk them to above the shoulder. I'm nervous that there not going to be as thick as I want, but im going to trust the process. A lot of us are on this journey. I'm with you all.
I am so proud of you for doing this, you're so beautiful and you don't need to get all dolled up just because you think your hair is too short naturally gorgeous. Look forward to seeing how this goes and watching you on your journey.
I'm coming along with you on this journey, let's go! Be patient and stay the course. I looove the look, it's beautiful .Locs are indeed beautiful and freeing. I'm super excited for you 💃🏾" I'm not asking for too much Lord " lol . Your beauty shines ❤👍🏾
Yes thank you dear for this video. I have the same goal as you. Me and my 4 yrs old is also embarking on this journey and love journaling this experience. I just got my 1st retwist and embracing these beauties. Your locs looks amazing 💕
I’m just starting my journey, you and I are at the same length. Im looking forward to your videos and hoping for some tips from you. This is my first time and I’m excited.
We are on the journey together! Did you do coils or two strand for your method? Stay tuned, I’ll be updating soon because my back in unraveling and it needs to be talked about lol. Thank you for watching!
Your baby locs are really cute! You have worn a TWA starter locs are just as versatile. If you’re a headband wearer try several types and colors. My hair was short when I established my locs 2.5 years ago. It was too short to style. Well I could have parted my locs in a few places but I didn’t. I really didn’t wear headbands or scarves or extensions either. It occurred to me that no one was going to look at my hair any more closely than me. So, if my hair was as good for me, it was good enough. I did wear mascara most days and lipstick if I didn’t need a mask. I have yet to get into a lot of styles but my locs are now on my collarbones in the front and sit on my shoulders in the back. My one big tip is to massage your scalp with the pads of your fingertips daily. If you have itching don’t be surprised. I believe it’s caused by too much oil on the scalp. Use oils sparingly. I wish I had been bold enough to start a RUclips channel when I started my locs. Instead I started a blog “Microlocs and Me: A Woman’s Journey to Hair Freedom “. I share a lot of what I have learned along the way.
@@bettyeames6812 I love what you said about if my hair is good for me then it’s good enough. That sounds like a woman who is secure in herself and I love it. I also checked out your blog! Your hair is absolutely gorgeous. I initially wanted sisterlocks but I’m happy with my starters so far and can’t wait to see how they grow! Thanks for watching!
Im 6 months and I start to feel good, I have 4c dry short so I had a very hard start because they were damaged from hair styles too. My start was very tough but now it looks good but still recovering. Patience is the key. I will follow all your updates and comment my updates too. I will post my first update video when I hit one year. Thanx for sharing. It looks like you will have a fabulous journey. I cant wait to see all your updates ❤
