I pray that if there's an afterlife I'm reborn into a time where this type of music originated. I feel like I was born about 600 years to late. I want to experience earth before humans ruined it. I'm so disgusted by the population of the modern day. I want to go back to when earth was pure. You're voice temporarily takes me back but I could only imagine the inspiration that would be everywhere. The smell of the air and the taste of the water, food without garbage in it. Before gmos and before everything of today. I would give everything I own right now to go back. I'm aware the life expectancy was much lower and medicine wasn't as effective as it is today but without perspective none of that would matter. We're living life the smart way today but people did it the right way years and years ago. I hate the modern world
I think you're forgetting the constant threat of being wiped out by diseases and people from nearby. You're forgetting all the pillaging and raping and being captured or tortured that was extremely common depending on where you were there. Like I can see the appeal of living in that time period but ever forget to be grateful for where you are.
As Gandalf said, it's what we do with the time we are given that matters.
