Studying for your GA real estate license is a great way to utilize your down time Brian. Alec has you covered and him and BJ will take care of you and home. The Maze Gang will keep you lifted up in prayers. It’s a blessing to have your mom close by during this time.
Brian I suggest that you get an office chair with wheels and keep it downstairs. Because y'all have wood floors it will be easy to wheel around your kitchen. Be sure to get a comfortable one with arm rest. I have back issues and I can't stand for more than 10 min. at a time. I use my chair to wash dishes, put food up in refrigerator. and freezer, to cook at stove, to prep food etc. The wheels allow complete movement without the crutches. ❤ You might be able to find a 2nd hand one @ goodwill, Sam's or Costco might be reasonable also.
Take each task one at a time. But as a former workaholic, treasure this downtime. I love how well you both are doing as a couple. Great idea to study for your test. Prayers extended.

Allow Alec to do what he wants to do to help you because as an amputee and having 6 surgeries on my other foot, there are times when I’ve been by myself for a few days in between when my son or X wife has stopped by to assist me with crap. I have become quite resilient in my day to day life. I look forward to the day when I can recover and hopefully return to work. I smiled when you both spoke about giving it to God. We are and will never be anything with His grace and blessings. And Brian, it is a lot easier navigating through the requirements having access to your health portal. Brian it will all be well and this too will pass. I’ve been through a double hip fracture surgery and I did that by myself. I had no consistent outside help. I did have a home health aide for a couple of weeks but outside of that and home therapy I did it by myself. A couple years later, I’m back to walking normal. I’ve said it before but this might be Gods redirection to get you to where He wants you to go. The real estate license is clutch. If you occupy your time with getting better in other aspects, time will fly by. You are lucky to have such a support in Alec! Stay blessed guys

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. God, Got You just pray snd give it to him.🙏💙 Remember, when i had open-heart surgery in (1995). Told my dad not to let me sleep wake me up and my dad did just that. Then my dad told me I almost didnt make it due to loss of blood.
Guys! Take from someone who's dealt with waiting for a hip replacement. I worked until I could no longer deal with the daily growing aching pain. The schedule surgery time is quite normal , I thought the same because it to wasn't the normal process of having a surgercal procedure and recieved quite a rude awakening. My surgery day has finally come. It's Monday morning and trust it has been a very long journey for me. So, Brian stay out of your head because it's not doing you any good trust me Sir. Alec & BJ and your mom are there to help you no matter what. Trust it!!! Lean on that trust!!!

I know exactly how you feel Brian…I felt like I lost all my independence but i was so grateful that i had my twin sister who supported me wholeheartedly through the time. That’s soo funny! I’m dealing with the same issue!! Scheduled to have e a total knee replacement, but after my visit last Thursday with my orthopedic doctor his receptionist who sets the appointment Ms told me same that December is booked and it’s looking likely Jan 7th! Have you considered going to a good chiropractor? I had severe pain in the hips, knees etc and it has changed my life. I thought I’d be in pain forever and when I found a good chiro I saw clearer, felt happier and was able to move without pain. I’m suggesting because alignment will allow the blood to flow to the places it needs to in a noninvasive way. ❤ your channel.

It's been a year and 2 months since I lost my job from being sick. Learning how to just stop was hard. Trying to get by on soc is hard,but I haven't found another job so you adapt. Please take care and let Alec help. My roommate has been a godsend.
Prayers 🙏🏽 If you are going to have hip replacement surgery just know it’s a beast of a procedure and you’ll need all the support you can get daily. I had total hip replacement on my right side and I couldn’t believe how much help I needed afterwards being an independent person it was different relaying on others. I would definitely recommend that you get a nice comfy cozy recliner because that’s the only way I could sleep and help with the swelling. 🙏🏽
Ah Clark im sorry to hear that you had a difficult time after your hip replacement. I dont need one right now but i will eventually. I'll definitely look into getting that recliner from now!

My son had a stroke the first of the year.He is paralyzed on the left side he uses the scooters I call him the scootties I have a bad knee on the right side, so I use them also . I just remember my mom drinking it YEARS ago, now with all of these Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and the other small cafes you just don't hear about Folgers anymore. Powdered creamer is why i hated coffee when I worked at the bank years ago. Thats what they would have and i couldnt stand it

It's been a year and 2 months since I lost my job from being sick. Learning how to just stop was hard. Trying to get by on soc is hard,but I haven't found another job so you adapt. Please take care and let Alec help. My roommate has been a godsend.

If you are going to have hip replacement surgery just know it’s a beast of a procedure and you’ll need all the support you can get daily. I had total hip replacement on my right side and I couldn’t believe how much help I needed afterwards being an independent person it was different relaying on others. I would definitely recommend that you get a nice comfy cozy recliner because that’s the only way I could sleep and help with the swelling. 🙏🏽
Ah Clark im sorry to hear that you had a difficult time after your hip replacement. I dont need one right now but i will eventually. I'll definitely look into getting that recliner from now!

My son had a stroke the first of the year.He is paralyzed on the left side he uses the scooters I call him the scootties I have a bad knee on the right side, so I use them also . Let me tell you it is hard to find them. I told him we are going to have to buy him his own. Brian take one day at a time. ❤

I love Folgers, and have been drinking it for 40+ years! I'm glad they invented Caramal Macchiato as a Creamer. I hate powdered Creamer.

LOL i am sorry about saying Folgers is an old peoples coffee that came out totally wrong. I just remember my mom drinking it YEARS ago, now with all of these Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and the other small cafes you just don't hear about Folgers anymore. Powdered creamer is why i hated coffee when I worked at the bank years ago. Thats what they would have and i couldnt stand it
