You can tell Opelka is slowly improving his game to be more consistent on the wins. He has shown he can compete at the high level more consistently over the past year. Nice job Reilly 💪
He has certainly been putting in work. He's not the "servebot" his detractors claim he is-- he can hit some groundies. He could be very dangerous if he puts it all together for two straight weeks. His lack of mobility is exploitable, though.
@@papigringo5692 very true! Yeah, he is so tall, but he doesn’t move around as efficiently on court compared to other players. If you enjoy tennis, you might enjoy my channel!
You know when you are playing with your kid siblings and they have the tiny kiddy rackets, small chairs, tiny nets ... That's just regular life for Opelka
Reilly might advance further if he would work on his lateral movement. He gave up on several returns that the top players would never have let go by. I understand he’s tall but if he really wants to be a top player, he’s gotta have more than that awesome serve.
Opelka makes 5'11 Kwon looks like 4'11. What a giant.
Such a modest guy, this man Opelka. It’s nice to see. Wishing him well for a deep run at this tournament.
yes!!!

Yeah, I think he is going to find as the days roll on this event will become extremely difficult for him.
@@random.tennis: Why?
@@notsohandytim5090 what do you mean?
Kwon gave it all, no regret.
You know when you are playing with your kid siblings and they have the tiny kiddy rackets, small chairs, tiny nets ... That's just regular life for Opelka
Exactly LOL
Shameful comment. Dealing with kids who post comments are always enlightenimg. :)))
Hahahah truth
졌지만 잘 싸웠다!
앞으로도 계속 성장할 것 같다.
권순우의 투어를 응원합니다.
Let's go Kwon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

?????
그놈의 졌잘싸 ㅋㅋㅋ
Gentle giant, Opelka does it again. His serve is almost impossible to play and that gives him such a huge advantage over his opponent.
Against weak players yes
David vs Goliath
😂 yeah
Kwon, super talented player, but Opelka’s serve
Is from another planet. Maybe planet Isner.
Hes the favourite for the whole tournament. He beats em all, our Lord Gracious Opelka
Opelka is improving.
👍
Best serve bot on the tour rn. And yes that’s counting kyrgios😂
@Kolikatar Kangla Its a joke, he's a self-described serve-bot he talked about it
Opelka > Raonic, Isner. Opelka's baseline game is easily the best among them. He's somewhat of a servebot though, can't be argued.
Opelka is so respectful to his opponents.
Love to have Opelka on tour
Courts very fast now starting last year, opelka can do very well depends on the momentum
Opelka is so flippin tall. I thought the thumbnail was him vs a ball boy at first.
Actually kwon is not short...
Considering his height kwon played really well.
Kwon is1.8m according to google which is above average height.
Opelka being a giant is what makes him look small.
Casper Ruud is about the same height as Kwon, and he beat Opelka in Cincinnati. Height is not everything in tennis.
@@casek7531 but in badminton height plays major role.
@@RameshKumar-ud5uk Height doesn't play any role in badminton too.
@@RameshKumar-ud5uk Height also plays a major role in table tennis,basketball,volleyball,football....whats your pointless point man
This Kwon is pretty guud! Unfortunate draw...
That is unfortunately also part of the game.
This is one of the best US open match I’ve ever seen! 😊
Really?
are you joking?
Is it the only one you've ever seen?
@@baddriversofcolga no I saw a lot but this is one of the best
Great match & great fight by both. Congrats to Opelka
Small world for a big guy.
Playing really solid tennis, Im liking Reilly's game a lot.
Best US open match ever.
Lord Opelka has spoken.
How about showing some Kwon points too? I know Opelka won but Kwon held his own.
Most pertinent question - who wins at basketball - Opelka v Krygios
Let's go Riley. Let's upset a few favorites this US Open!
David and Goliath

Los redonditos de ricota o divididos?
권순우 선수! 수고했어요~~^^
I don't know why I asked the question the first time but yet again, Is Jay Berger Reilly's coach?
Are they from different class?
overlooked fact -- most of the times goliath pummels david
Kwon did well overall though.
Opelka's serve gives him a HUGE advantage! The only way to beat him (assuming the rest of his game is on) is to take away his serve.
Kwon 5’11 and Opelka 6’11 😵💫
How much is that in an understandable unit?
A A people use inch foot measurement for a person's height throughout the world, regardless of whether the use SI units every other time.
@@ayandas874 Not where I live, so I don't understand those strange units.
@@AA-le9ls 180cm and 211cm
@@casek7531 Thank you.
his name is sun wu kong, thats epic
I thought Kwon was a ball boy at the screenshot 😅
Yeah 😄😄 i too
Opelka is so handsome
Ace power 🚀
I just realised Opelka is 6’11” tall… 😂
And kwon is actually 5'10" or 11"... He looks like a boy ball in front of Opelka
This match reminds me of David vs Goliath. Goliath won this time though:)
와!!! 키가 ㅋㅋ
That was too close a game for Opelka!
There were 33 games, which one was close?
iS jAY bERGER oPELKA'S COACH?
Height difference leads to loss
I feel like I always see opelka go against the little guys all the time..maybe everyone is just little to him.
David vs GOlias
SERVE BOT ACTIVATED -_- READY TO DESTROY
Yeah, Kwon is a real servebog
Thought Kwon was a m!dget at first, but no, it's Opelka who's a giant!
Thanks @USOpenTennisChampionships for not giving away the winner in the video still!
An amusing match.
Other than the serve not much of a game. Like Ivanisevic.
gulliver vs pokemon
All above average tall players will eventually lazy to move. They only have one weapon that is the serve.
Their height difference...
How is this even legal??? 🤨 🙄 😜 😄
Ben mapire
Servebot
Typical American Opelka
Smallest guy on tour vs a giant…
smallest guy is swartchman?😀
1.8 m
1세트 6대6 타이에서 6:3서브는 들어갔는데 왜 더블임?
미국놈들 편파판정하네
빌어먹을 미국놈!
Korean tennis is finished since chung hyuns AO dream run lol
Korean tennis is just beginning. Kwon is super talented player.but Opelika has better service .33 ace.kwon has 13 aces.wish kwon had more aces.
Man vs woman
