When I was in high school I was in a self contained class room I was a slow learner “ special “ needs anyways my teacher would tell the whole class what were not this label that the education system gave us. Yes our minds need some time to process what we’ve just learned but it doesn’t make us any less just means we needed more time to absorb the information but he always encouraged us to never stop trying never stop learning he always stood up for myself and fellow classmates by the time we graduated all of us felt more confident then when we arrived at school
I always, deliberately, emphatically, consistently told my apprentices: "I am NOT your 'Boss'. I am your mentor." For one particular young man, I told him I was his "adoptive grandfather". Because he grew up in a horribly dysfunctional family. He needed "love", in addition to everything else I taught. Often, nearly half of the day's meeting time was given to him "sharing". That was our euphemism for him expressing and verbalizing his pain. While I quietly and respectfully listened. The cliche is "blowing off steam". To release pressure before it builds up to an explosion. I definitely grew in my own character and maturity, just by being empathetic. I deliberately build the self esteem of my people. Addressing the missing upper layers of Abraham Maslow's Pyramid of Human Needs and Motivations. The NON Material, Human-Spirit aspects of life. By these and other secrets, I built a team of computer programmers with productivity 10 to 50 TIMES published industry standards. No, I am Not going to reveal these other power "secrets" in this brief post.
Day 19: Input over Outcome I wrote down my plans and goals I have and the more I do the more I realize just how much work there is to do. I know it won't be easy by any means but taking the steps to making sure Improve myself is indeed a great step forward
*Today's message is about a song by Alan Jackson titled - Angels and Alcohol.* Funny title, right.* Personally, I think Alan must have been high on whiskey when he wrote that song. Lmao. So the first verse of the song goes like this... My 3 Daughter's definitely are lil go getters Thank God for Them they have these Greatttt Qualities My 8 year old is Already Class President My 12 year old had a job at 9 years old at school My 18 year old is a Young Entrepreneur started selling at 16 in high school l!!🏫GratefullThankfullBlessed hope their dreams come true Lords Will, I'll sacrifice my dreams for theirs!! Love those Beautifull Children! 🙏
Alux is amazing but what we don't want to do is make it a TV series as something that we watch because we enjoy it, we have to also act on the advice that they give us otherwise it's no different from watching a TV series on "Netflix.
