Just wanted to put in my two pence worth... when the youtube thing becomes a "tail wagging the dog" type situation and starts to sap your mojo then you're entirely correct and within your rights to take a step in a different direction, if the videos come less frequent then so be it, but the good news is the content will show us "the way less travelled" as it were. As long as you put it up here I and many thousands will continue to watch and enjoy your travels, not just along the roads or through nature but through the rich and meandering tapestry we call life. I think that's why what you do is so enjoyable and easy to watch, it's exactly because its not a travel show and that we get a glimpse inside that make it all the more interesting... so go beyond where the signal ends and fill ya boots friend, just show us what we're missing now and again and that your well and doing fine.

Please keep doing this YOUR way, whatever it becomes. I really appreciate your style. When I first started watching these types of videos (living on the road, out of van, etc) I was thrilled to see an alternative, affordable way to live in my retirement. What is disturbing is the trend I am now seeing of increasingly slicker and more expensive van conversions. And people who are living this way on a whim rather than out of necessity. They are welcome to do that BUT I am not interested in their videos. Your videos, and those that address the social/economic/personal movement that creates the need to to do this, are what I am looking for. Plus the how-to's of converting a van within a tight budget, how to survive on the road, reviews of items used, etc. Thank you for what you have been posting and looking forward to whatever you are able to post in the future.

I've been watching your video's for a few years, the reason i like your video's is the fact that your obviously not fake and your living the true van life. I had never heard of work camping until i saw it on your videos. Keep doing what you are doing and don't take the negative comments to heart. One of the pleasures in my "normal" life is watching your latest videos while drinking a coffee.
Because I enjoy van life, travel videos I have subscribed to 2 other channels besides yours. Your channel was my first van life channel and to this day the only one I watch every video. This has been my favorite youtube channel for years. Once in a while I will watch a vid from others but this channel is by far the best. And it is you Brian & your personality that makes it so good. After six in a half years of living in my 83 Dodge van Brian I've learned being alone in nature and being away from city hussel and bussel and social media has been great for me I rarely I mean rarely ever post a video on you tube besides there's so many people living this life style its even boring to watch I just choose to live it my way and not share my experience with anyone and would rather just be alone and in peace and quiet being around people stresses me out

Please keep doing this YOUR way, whatever it becomes. I really appreciate your style. When I first started watching these types of videos (living on the road, out of van, etc) I was thrilled to see an alternative, affordable way to live in my retirement. What is disturbing is the trend I am now seeing of increasingly slicker and more expensive van conversions. And people who are living this way on a whim rather than out of necessity. They are welcome to do that BUT I am not interested in their videos. Your videos, and those that address the social/economic/personal movement that creates the need to to do this, are what I am looking for. Plus the how-to's of converting a van within a tight budget, how to survive on the road, reviews of items used, etc.

I've been watching your video's for a few years, the reason i like your video's is the fact that your obviously not fake and your living the true van life. I had never heard of work camping until i saw it on your videos. Keep doing what you are doing and don't take the negative comments to heart.

Because I enjoy van life, travel videos I have subscribed to 2 other channels besides yours. Your channel was my first van life channel and to this day the only one I watch every video. This has been my favorite youtube channel for years. Once in a while I will watch a vid from others but this channel is by far the best. And it is you Brian & your personality that makes it so good. Your videos often help me get into a calm and positive frame of mind before I go out to deal with daily life. Thanks for all you have done brother. I do watch quite a bit of RUclips and you are one of the originals. I have heard and agree with others on RUclips that you are the most sincere, and down to earth guy out there. One of my pet peeves is youtubers who bemoan not having a cell signal. Most of your followers are 100% behind your quest for wellbeing. After six in a half years of living in my 83 Dodge van Brian I've learned being alone in nature and being away from city hussel and bussel and social media has been great for me I rarely I mean rarely ever post a video on you tube besides there's so many people living this life style its even boring to watch I just choose to live it my way and not share my experience with anyone and would rather just be alone and in peace and quiet being around people stresses me out
You have inspired this old lady. I never knew what I wanted to do in a few years when I retire. Now I do. I do NOT want any fancy van build, just comfortable and cozy to travel anywhere I can. Life is to short to give much thought and concern re. what others might say or think. If you get negative comments from someone block them and keep their negative BS out of your life.
