I find the old man's remark rude. You don't call a group weak just because you're not into them. It's undermining their effort and talent when in fact Treasure had proven themselves already. the grandpa might said it for entertainment but as fans, we really found it offensive, im sorry. just bcs treasure is not that big in south korea, it doesn't mean you have to disrespect them in any way. these boys are literally one of the the strongest people i know. they went through a lot for 4 years (more than 4 years if we include their trainee years) but they are still here standing tall. they are still the same down-to-earth idols. they never let their fame and money get into their heads. they have a very supportive and dedicated fandom and they are also amazing performers so they are NOT weak.

YG needs to learn from what Korean Kpop fans are telling him. A group full of talents, but YGE is using a tired concept used from BIGBANG times. They went through a survival show, debut got delayed because of the pandemic and even lost members however, they kept going for Teumes! But really, my mind can’t comprehend how was he able to compare Treasure to babymonster like that when both groups are equally talented, given that both are YG ARTISTS and both underwent rigorous training before debuting. I am also crying hearing his opinion, but then we can see it all in another perspective: girl group has more reception in kpop fans knetz in general nowadays than boy groups across all age groups, and if baby monster had positive response despite high competition in girl group then that means YGE has been on the right track this year handling their idols. This is also evident with the releases of treasure kingkong having the mv aesthetics leveled up and reverse shown up on a movie. In case of treasure, maybe the uncle compared it to other boy groups based on tenure in industry and seventeen has been in the industry longer than treasure.

Went here to eat a few days after watching Treasure concert. We love the food. Also bought the big size sikhye for 3000 krw and was so surprised to get a tub...lol.
We enjoyed visiting this place. We enjoyed the show - really entertaining. Hope we could have catched these handsome part-timers.
even getting the unpleasant word multiple times right in front of their face, but jihoon and jaehyuk trying to do their best and leave a good impression to the uncle by trying difference approach. and they also respecting the other idol that mention as the uncle's fav, like showing the same interest with great response "wow I like that too".
they handle this sour situation with good manner and trying to leave good impression hoping that the uncle's maybe will try to put interest in them in future despite his response. well done jihoon and jaehyuk, you did your best and handle the situation very well
I can't people are sleeping on these funny and talented authentic guys then calling them names. I know how awesome is treasure. They know, teumes know and that's enough. Treasure will gain popularity when they are meant to and surely it's in the near future. I love you, treasure. Your music is the best!!

i think staff should’ve said something, or cut that part out of the episode. ofc I still watched to support treasure but that part made me so uncomfortable, with him talking about the company & which groups are better… :/

Honestly I wanted to cry when I heard Grandpa's words. It's unfair that Treasure debuted in the midst of COVID and YG's scandal. BUT I SALUTE JIHOON AND JAEHYUK'S MENTALITY. THEY ARE MATURE MEN WHO CAN BE OPEN-MINDED AND STRONG. I AM REALLY PROUD OF BEING A TREASURE FAN. Treasure really for lucky person who can found them (diamond). I LOVE YOU MY TREASURE... THANK YOU FOR HARD WORK AND SURVIVE UNTIL THIS DAY. I hope Treasure will make good songs in their next comeback and also PROPER PROMOTIONS FROM YG.
That’s why I hate YG forever why waiting until Bm debuted they could have given them a world tour or any content not Japan fan meeting because they deserve to be welll know by people all around the world
