All the previous palettes were pretty much the same concept with a lot of unecessary brown shades that we all have more than enough and the options were limited that's why this one really stood out. I hope they won't disappoint with the Opal one and that this time they'll give us the pastels we were expecting from the Pearl palette... with no boring browns of course.
This is my birthstone and while I do appreciate that they did other shades that sapphire comes in, I'm a tad disappointed that there isn't the actual dark blue sapphire, I think the main shade leans more purple than blue.
I agree!!!! Sapphires might come in many colors but a blue sapphire is what the majority of people look for and to not have a blue is a bit ridiculous.

it's to do with the hardness! from my understanding sapphire comes in the full rainbow of colours but it's a specific hardness on the Mohs scale that makes it a sapphire. interesting sidenote - red sapphires are rubies! they're the same gemstone! 😍

True! we don't need another neutral color in a palette since most, if not all of us have them already. I didn't think it was a green palette until Angie made this look. Green and purple/blurple looks awesome, I usually see blue and violets paired so didn't think about it seeing other reviews.

OuuuuUUUUUU!! That Nabla slanted brush is slanted so nicely! Usually slanted eyeshadow brushes are slanted along their length, not their width! And it’s a dramatic slant! I need it.

Absolutely stunning palette! Your comment at the end about having long lower lashes is so relatable. Mine are significantly longer than my top lashes, and it can be frustrating because they basically cover all my undereye makeup once I add mascara

This is my favorite out of all of the ones they've done so far, too. I'm very, very excited and curious to see what they do for Opal (my birthstone), and I'm hoping it's very true to actual opals, maybe with some pastel shades and a really pretty duochrome shade for the "Opal" shade itself.
