I recently changed my mineshaft entrance and brought it closer to my Base. Really love it but hadn't thought of decorating the actual inside of it so thanks for that idea!

You could make a Secret underground treasury filled with diamond blocks gold blocks and emerald blocks

There's really no use for diamonds, except trim. You can create an artificial need by not using mending. If you don't have that you need them for repairs and new gear (obviously don't use villagers to trade for diamond gear or tools). It will make you treasure your gear (and diamonds) more. Going further you could stop using librarians for books and rely on the enchanting table only. Sure it is more grinding this way, but in other ways it is more satisfactory. You could also make small graves for broken tools that can't be repaired any more.

You can build chandelier out of Diamonds or use them for containers or other builds

I noticed the particles emitted from your campfire is less obtrusive than vanilla ones. Is it a part of the shader or a separate pack?

I just had the campfires lower down underground so not as much smoke was visible!
