Seedlings and rootstock are both terms related to plant propagation and cultivation, but they refer to different parts of a plant and serve different purposes. Seedlings: Seedlings are young plants that grow from seeds. When a plant produces seeds, they contain the genetic material necessary to develop into a new plant. Seedlings are typically grown from seeds in controlled environments such as greenhouses or nurseries. They are often used in commercial horticulture for producing various types of plants, including flowers, vegetables, and trees. Seedlings can be grown from seeds collected from mature plants or obtained from seed suppliers. They are usually started in trays or pots filled with a growing medium such as soil or peat. The seeds are sown at the appropriate depth and provided with optimal conditions of moisture, temperature, and light to encourage germination. As they grow, seedlings develop a root system, stems, and leaves. Rootstock: Rootstock refers to the lower part of a plant that forms the root system and is used as the base for grafting or budding another plant. It is commonly used in horticulture and fruit tree cultivation. The rootstock provides the root system, anchorage, and sometimes disease resistance or tolerance to adverse soil conditions, while the upper part of the plant, called the scion, contributes the desired traits such as fruit quality or specific characteristics. Rootstocks are typically propagated asexually, usually through methods like cutting, layering, or tissue culture. Once the rootstock is established, grafting or budding techniques are employed to join the desired scion onto the rootstock. This allows the combination of different characteristics or traits from both the rootstock and the scion to create a new plant with the desired qualities. In summary, seedlings are young plants grown from seeds, while rootstock refers to the lower part of a plant used as a base for grafting or budding another plant. Seedlings are used to propagate plants directly from seeds, while rootstock is used to create new plants by combining desired traits through grafting or budding techniques.

Sir nice video. One suggestion. Please diversify into hazelnut shrubs which is very tasty and healthy and high value nut also persimmons which can be dried and stored and processed for packing and selling in packets. This will help progressive farmers to increase their income manifold. To be a successful farmers they have to be good entrepreneurs to get the good price for their crops. These days plenty of good and cheap packing machinery is available. Instead of of waiting for the broker to do the selling, farmers family members have to get involved in marketing of their products directly. People in the neighbouring states are dying to have good quality products directly from the farmers Orange prunes and dry khoomani are in great demand. Apple cultivation has reached a saturation point. Time to explore new ways to diversify and make good money. Even American pecan nuts are better than cheap quality stone like indian walnut which are useless. The world is moving fast and technology is available easily. Regards
