Great info. Id appreciate more how to video. I dont watch these to just watch a boat load of guys catch fish. We get over that way acouple times a yr, so i want to make the best of it. Never really trollee anything but crawler harnesses. Thanks 👍🎣

Thanks for the feedback! We are heading there in a few weeks time and I’ll put together a how to video walking through everything we do.

Why do you keep the rod tip low? Aren’t you worried about head shake and loosing them without upward tension on the head?

Certainly a possibility! We had quite a few conversations about this, actually. Just a personal opinion, but I’ve lost more walleye by bringing them to the surface with a high rod tip than I have keeping them down with a low rod tip. So, I prefer a low rod tip based on my own experience.

I have been waiting for this! Thank you Cody for capturing such a tender moment in a beautiful way. Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Any reason you don’t turn your clicker off on the reel when your reeling the fish in?

Generally, I try to because of the annoyance and just in case it is actually bad for the reel. Dave rarely does because he doesn’t think it matters and he doesn’t think about it.
