Love to see the artists I love sometimes sharing the same stage. Wouldn't have believed Shovels & Ropes, E. Harris, B. Miller Tift Merritt all together with this bunch of great players and singers!
Kenneth Malone - You’re right. I think the singers should’ve only been Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, and maybe Shovels and Rope. There was way too much emphasis on the three fiddles, and almost no focus on the one accordion. It was a disjointed mess.
Shovels and rope version of this really capture that sound you’re looking for that brings music to life. Perfect tempo, harmony, and country spice😍🤩Check them out, they’re an incredible band
@@michellestory1686 I agree 100%. I discovered that duo through their cover of this song. I imagine my fiance got fired of hearing it as I had it replacing all day long.
@@kennethmalone4689 broken jukebox album! It’s GOLD! Love almost every song I’ve heard from that album, and they’re all totally unique and different sounds and feelings that very from song to song. They’re magic😍🤩💗
To be honest, I wasn’t impressed. Emmylou Harris didn’t have a solo part, and they focused too much on the fiddles, with next to no focus on the lone accordion. Really lacking.
Individually they're all very talented but even the best are going to have issues when they're sharing a mic or worse, two or more artist's are singing one verse into that single mic. Even if one artist's timing is off just little it can throw the whole thing into chaos.

Doesn't matter if it is not polished. Just great performers having a good time. Brilliant !
mind blowing
Sounds OK to me on my laptop. Great song to finish on from a great group of artists
ALL GIFTED AND singing a EMMYLOU HARRIS and Rodney Crowell song
Great line up
Brilliant!
Wow my first introduction to Joy Williams what a beautiful lady
Shovels and Rope Yeah!!!!
Like, I can't be the only one seeing the look between Roseanne and Rodney at :30, right?
This is a powerful assembly of talent, but the sound doesn't seem right. It might be because I'm listening on a phone.

Im most familiar w the song by emmy lou and of course rodney
Considering Rodney Crowell wrote it, it was a nice tribute even if he was on stage.
They all just need to step back and let Shovels & Rope handle the vocals. Some of that was just plain bad.
