In case someone doesn't know this, this band's drummer had lost his right leg in the bus accident that sent the band to a 3.5 year hiatus. He's controling the right kick pedal only with a stub of his right thigh 'cause that's all he's got left of the whole leg. Bloody legend.
Never been a big fan of The Ghost Inside or hardcore leaning metalcore in general But goddamn their story of survival is fucking inspiring, somehow they gave "I'll see you when the sun sets" a more emotional meaning for me
So many people to support 1 band. This is why I love the metal community. If they decide to make a new album it will definitely be one of the greatest comeback albums! Lifes swinging hard but I'm swinging harder! 🤘❤
It's amazing how the drummer is still going. I'd kill to get some of his advice. I've been a drummer for about five years now and I was born with a right leg-below-the-knee amputation. I've been practicing double bass a lot trying to get consistent but the fatigue is evil. I get bad cramps in my hamstring from all the strain from the weight of the prosthetic. This drummer has an awesome completely costume peddle. So it's not like I can buy something similar. If anyone has some tips or tricks that be awesome. My drum teacher as a kid said I would struggle with a faster tempo. Btw I love your content keep it up man!
I always had mixed feelings with their cover. I love the modern sound but every time I listen to the lyrics it just reminds me of how goofy limp bizkit was and makes me laugh rather than headbang
Jared: Do you mind if I record this on my extremely popular RUclips channel that millions of people watch? Tim Lambesis: Hey, don't I know you from Trivium?
To be honest I wasn't really a fan of this band. I love engine 45. But I got teary-eyed when, this is such and awesome thing for this band. A monumental victory they probably never thought they would need. I had tears of joy for them.
I was all the way in the front of the crowd and this concert was so badass!!!! I got the last 2 tickets and I took my boyfriend for his 20th birthday as a surprise :D We both had a blast watching our favorite band 🤘🏻♥️ The Ghost Inside is such a inspiration and I know that everyone is so happy that their back and more badass than ever!
What a inspriative moment of love, passion and redemption. I remember the crash after seeing them in NC. A strengthening blessing. Their making music and cant wait to see them again! The ghost inside lives forever!
Thank you for making this video. Couldn't have afforded a trip across the pacific to see this happen, got to have my happy little cry over it here. My heart has raced at every update since their accident and to see them pull through and be on that stage is inspirational to say the least.
I miss seeing these guys live so much I would go to every show they had down here in Corpus Christi TX some of the best times of my life! Hearing them again gives me chills and happiness wish I could have been there.
Awesome video! Its always good to see a band come back from a tragedy or serious adversity. Quite a few of my favourite bands have had to. Best wishes to TGI...onwards and upwards!
@@alexisthibodeau1300 yeah man they're both super nice! When I saw them Jared seemed busy so I didn't want to interrupt him but Austin came up to talk for a bit and offered to take a pic, then when Jared was free he offered to take a pic of me with Jared. But both super nice and everything you'd expect!
So awesome! Just started listening to these guys. Had to research the story and wow is it heartbreaking . So inspiring to see them back and better than ever. The new album is incredible 🤘
Truely inspirational. They had been through so much, but powered through and where able to make it on stage again. Glad to see them back. Not to mention Andrew loosing his leg. I’m a drummer, and being able to do that after loosing a leg. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this band
I remember them missing a show they were supposed to be a few weeks after the accident. Everyone was so upset but the energy in the room for them whenever they came up during the sets was unbelievable
I flew to LA from Chicago with a few buddies just to catch it. Such a killer show! Wish I would’ve gotten to meet you there but it looks like we were on the complete opposite side.
Man! That show right was such an Amazing event with ( the history, the people, and the emotion) Ill bet it literally left a residual imprint in space & time like what happens with residual ghosts or hauntings! I so wish I was there
This make me think that everything is possible..I'm very sorry for all is happened to this band but i'm also happy to see this,is unbelievable...my best greetings
Austin’s reaction was genuine as hell at the end of the video. That was how I felt after I seen Greta Van Ze..Fleet. Haha honestly they kicked ass and I love them.....for real though TGI sounded amazing. Hope their return becomes a bright one🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I am so fucking glad The Ghost Inside received every ounce of love they put into their music. Every moment of this show makes the hair on my body raised...
TGI are the real fucking deal. Having a genuinely amazing inspirational message is one thing. Maintaining that message consistently after what they went through is the definition of incredible. It's mind-blowing, even.
You know I respect you Jared, I may not be into metal and stuff, but I respect that it is a kind of music that people enjoy and put alot of work into, and I also respect you as a person, I mean you were having what could be considered the worst possible thing to happen on the trip and yet you were still willing to smile and take pictures with fans and stuff, which really, good job on you dude, you are awesome, don't ever stop being awesome. :D
And the vocal from In Hearts Wake at 8:53 on the right....looks like these guys flew from Australia just to see this happening. Another proof of how big TGI is and how much they inspire people.
Dude in the glasses was a little tipsy lol but so awesome you got to meet Tim lambesis, he seems like such a nice guy. I bet he gets a bad wrap from the wife thing but he is still one of my all time favorite lead singers of all time! Such a cool video thanks so much for filming this, and I can't wait for the breaking Benjamin video!
After all this pandemic is over I definitely have to see these guys live for my 1st time live show looks so epic and there music from what I've heard is just down right amazing... Great upload 🤘🤘
Hell yeah dude! Honestly you're all a huge inspiration for me to keep playing, I know everyone says that, but you're all so awesome and I hope I can be half as good as you one day :)
The ghost inside supposed to visit us in Australia, but the accident happened. Make me really sad even knowing Andrew had to lose his right leg. This video warming my heart to know that they back to playing their music again. Can’t wait till they visit us!

reminds me of def leppard's drummer. lost one of his arms from a vehicle accident
That's beyond inspirational my dude
And his dad helped build the piece for his prosthetic right leg so he can use the pedal and the crowd was chanting Larry (Andrew's dad)
woww. Then he's really talented. Real talented, I am a drummer as well, can't imagine playing without my other leg. He's a legend
he has a prosthetic.
Just casually walks up to Tim Lambesis and gives him a hug
Hopefully he doesn't have him assassinated later ;)
@@brockly6434 Nope.
But he might counsel Jared through substance abuse.
I did that the first time I met him.
Honestly just counting the days until something comes out about Jared.
This is my wife Amanda btw...👀
Tim Lambesis: "This is my wife".
What a brave woman she is.
no shit.
is it a new wife? Or the one that he failed to murder? Honestly dont know.

It makes my heart happy that TGI was able to continue. They are one of those metalcore bands that will always be legendary in my eyes.
They did my boy dirty they had Jared and Austin out there like door greeters!
8:50 omg Jake Taylor from In Hearts Wake

Running into Tim from AILD had me all sorts of hype. That band shaped my musical taste since '03. That was dope.
this is filmed and edited so perfectly, i forgot i was watching your channel and thought it was a documentary and it was a great feeling.
The Ghost inside has impeccable live show quality. Definitely top tier.
Loved the calm music you added in the video
I can’t remember how many times I’ve seen TGI at small venues and warped tour but I’m so happy they’re doing well now! I own all their albums on CD.
