    This rhythm is exactly how it sounded driving a train in the "olden days" - it was slow compared to now - there was steam and noises from the wheels and the rails - rhythmic. So it was a genius idea from John.

    • @bluebell3720
      @bluebell3720 2 года назад +1

      It seems to be the same but more prominant than what was in Freddies passing open windows
      If they wrote a song they also composed it
      The others wouldn't normally try and make big changes.
      On their later albums it did become a bit more of a collab
      The main song is Rogers not a collab but Freddie felt the begining of his song he shelved would fit at the beginning of this
      The bass could be completely knew
      Or the previous was remembered...
      Either way it sounds fantastic!

    • @anne-mariesindruprix4792
      @anne-mariesindruprix4792 2 года назад +2

      @@bluebell3720 Actually they would normally try to change - they argued and fought - and all 4 of them says that that is why they are so successful . BUT the one that initially had the idea to a song would have the last "say" - so of cause there had to be collaboration and and compromises. They also stated that their fights and disagreements were the reason behind their succes - because they worked it out - - other bands split.

      Particularly mixing the writer would normally be the main producer..
      Roger hated having his drums duller in AOBTD...
      There was probably dispute if they didnt like how their part was played or lack of!
      Brian wanted more guitar on DSMN but Freddie wanted it as piano led
      Brian went off and wrote more guitar for it anyway hoping to change his mind ! But Freddie stuck with no!
      Yes lots of disputes
      But they weren't really collab, the writter wouldn't normally come in with a song and they would compose it together or suggest making big differences to the composition is what I meant
      I think the biggest rows were choosing the singles,b side and set lists

    Breakthru was written by Freddie and Roger for the album The Miracle (1989). It was released as a single and its b-side was Stealin' (non-album song, written by Freddie).
    This track was two at first, A New Life Is Born (written by Freddie) and Breakthru (written by Roger).
    The girl in the video is Debbie Leng, Roger's girlfriend at that time.
    Roger Taylor - Drums, backing vocals, keyboards
    Freddie Mercury - Lead and backing vocals, keyboards, piano
    John Deacon - Bass, synth bass
    Guest:
    David Richards - keyboards
    David Richards worked a lot with Queen members. He played the keyboards in some songs of Roger's two first solo albums (Fun In The Space (1981) and Strange Frontier (1984)), in the three Queen's last albums (The Miracle (1989), Innuendo (1991) and Made In Heaven (1995)) and he produced all these albums. He also produced Queen's album A Kind Of Magic (1986), Freddie and Montserrat's album Barcelona (1988) and The Cross' first album Shove It (1988) (The Cross was a band whose leader was Roger, so he was in 2 bands at the same time). He also produced some songs of Brian's two solo albums (Back To The Light (1992) and Another World (1998)).
