I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

They flatly refused to refund me and would only agree to taking it back and I wait for it to be 'repaired' This was in Cornwall, UK Luckily I tried again and a junior member of staff refunded me but then a manager intervened and took my card from her and tried to take my money back. I was able to snatch my card out of the machine before the transaction went through. I won't ever buy one of their products again nor be bullied by sales staff at one of their outlets.

White pine is a very soft wood. Might as well use a pencil. I'd like to see a hard wood used for these events. Anything in the Hickory family. Um hum stopping to sharpen the axe or chain saw a quarter way through the cut would add more challenge!! IMO.
