His skin tone being pale-ish might just make sense for the Hush storyline. Poison Ivy was able to get her botanical influence into him, adding a very light pale greenish undertone, to represent that affect, looks good to me.
Yeah, this Superman definitely needs some sunlight.. maybe it's because his body mold has been passed so much he's simply flushed, or maybe it's that villainous poison Ivy...
I know of Mcfarlane figures, though never owned one, but I decided I want to buy one (superman). My favorite one from what I’ve seen is the action comics 1000, but man, I checked eBay and Mercari and they go for 90ish bucks. This would be my second option, thought the pale skin kinda throws me off. Not to mention the slightly oversized hands (though it could be worse, like the black Adam superman 💀) I’m looking for a traditional Superman (red and blue fit), but my options are a bit limited
Yeah I pre-ordered this one and I have the McFarlane toy store exclusives Hush Poison Ivy Supes. He's already commands a premium on the secondary market. Thanks for the review
I don't really care for the head sculpt. The Action Comics head looks better on this body minus the colors. Not a fan of the droopy S either but the S on the Cape is the highlight.
People have been calling this "Zombie Superman", because of the pale greenish skin tone. It seems that McFarlane Toys (in their infinite wisdom) decided to go 100% story specific with this figure and give him greenish skin to represent the fact that he was being mind controlled by Poison Ivy. That was fine for the MTS Exclusive figure that came with the heat vision head and the vine accessories. But for this general release they should have given him a normal skin tone so that people could use him as a regular classic Supes. The weird skin tone is especially noticeable when you stand him next to other figures. It's beyond aggravating when they make such bonehead decisions behind the scenes like that.
He used this mold in the following figures: Superman Infected Superman DeathMetal Superman Hush Superman Louise and Clark Eradicator Superman vs Doomsday I preordered nice figure.
@@opusbasketballacademy1112 That's your opinion but if somebody showed me this headsculpt I could tell right away it's Jim Lee. I agree with Raphael that the problem with this figure is more with the paint than the sculpting.
The flesh tone does look a bit pale. I wonder if it's the same flesh tone as the Gold Label angry face one. But that one made sense as he was mind controled in the story. This Hush SUpes does get a new head sculpt where the gold label and Doomsday pack has the angry face. The first if they use same as the gold label as not too big. It should be fine. I don't plan to pick this one up as it's too similar to the Doomsday 2 pack and the gold label. The reason McFarlane didn't print the S on the cape for Doomsday Supes is because it's a newly sculpted cape that has a slight bump where the S should be so it won't work. the S is not a big deal to me as my figures will be facing forward and I won't be staring at the cape. And I much rather has a more dynamic sculpt for the cape than making it flat to accomadate an S print that I won't see.
McFarlane should just stop using this mold. The infected body actually looks overused, cuz it looks like it’s melting. I mean, look at that huge dent on his right finger. All copies have this.
It’s not that, I’d be perfectly fine with it IF HE WAS AT LEAST Freaking taller than BATMAN!!! That Doomsday 2 pack is just insulting to us fans and consumers by Supes having flight hands and no S LOGO on the Cape when it’s on the FREAKIN CARD AND IS ARGUABLY ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC IMAGES IN SUPERMAN HISTORY

Makes sense ... I kinda like this figure.
Yes. It’s just like the previous Hush Superman but with neutral facial expression vs heat ray vision.

I kit bashed one from precious Superan figures. I just don't have the "S" for the cape.

He used this mold in the following figures:
Superman Infected
Superman DeathMetal
Superman Hush
Superman Louise and Clark
Eradicator
Superman vs Doomsday
I preordered nice figure.
Skin color is off, feels like McFarlane hates Superman 😢
Yeah, he is too pale but that's a great Jim Lee Superman headsculpt.
Nah this headsculpt looks nothing like Jim Lee’s art. It’s terrible

Stay safe out there!!
The capes are completely different lol

It's exactly the same as infected hush superman
