This Canadian is surprised to discover that it is our job to guard your border. Since our border is your border, it certainly makes sense to cooperate in border security and at border crossings. And yet, we've just had Trump spit in our faces. Trump HAS NOT suggested that BOTH Canada AND the U.S. increase border staff and security. He has not mentioned the illegal drugs that come into Canada from the U.S., nor the illegal guns. He certainly has not pledged that the U.S. will work to reduce the flow of these things into our country. What we are seeing is blame from a man who has shown he is actually unable to solve problems.
