    I enjoyed that 👍🏻
I'll be getting my feet wet in there very soon.
You should look up the story of the Grudging grave. Quite an interesting story.
    Thanks for sharing

I saw your eye mask! Good one! Here in Alaska where I live it does not get dark from Spring till the end of summer. The sun stays at the top of the sky except for like 3-4 hours a night. Its disorienting even to Alaskans. You know what I love about your videos? You don't rush along and miss all the wonderful details. I love to explore when I am backpacking too!

That’s great that you are hiking the Gila at your age! I hunt on occasion up above the middle fork. Awesome country. Bighorn Sheep, Coues Deer, Mule Deer, turkey, quail, bears, wolves, puma’s, elk. The Gila is the healthiest forest I’ve been in

That's awesome! I grew up in Carlsbad, NM and spent a few summers up in the Gila backpacking. Great shots!

Why are you hiking in spring turkey season no respect!

Hi Reggie, I didn’t know that turkey season meant no one but hunters allowed! Maybe the FS forgot to put up a sign at the trailhead! As I recall there wasn’t even a mention about it on the FS website. I didn’t see any hunters…did see lots of other hikers as well as outfitters. It’s always season for something, bear, deer, black powder. As an outdoorsman for over 50yrs I support multiple use.
