Originally Cyprus was gonna do a national final but it got scrapped because they were gonna film it in Greece and there was some controversy with that. I'm not fully sure how Silia was chosen but she's here now. (She's also from Australia but her parents are from Cyprus) I believe last year this song was short listed to be Greece's entry but it didn't work out (it wasn't ever commercially released or anything so doesn't go against the rules). They likely just changed up the composition to fit Silia.
The problem for me with this song is that the outfit is just too gold and the dance moves are just average. The video is also boring. Also the talking in the beginning is great but needs to be in the middle of the song too. I don’t think it will do well. Sadly. There are some other wow songs in this year.
