Too early for Christmas? No way. 😊 I've made 8 3x3 cards in the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite. I only stopped because we have company coming over and had to clean up. 😆 3x3's are my favorite. Next favorite is 3.5x5.
Have a lot of Christmas DSP and will be making some of these cards. So easy. I always decorate my envelopes with DSP. It adds something to the plain white envelope.
Thanks again for sharing. Love this. I don't have too many double sided papers. :( I have done similar cards, love them. I have to do an ANNIVERSARY card, think I'll do this. Thanks again. Always delighted by your cards. And ave them to write into my card layout notebook.. Have a great day.
Ahhhhhh, good, another idea for double sided paper! I still have a whole 6x6 pad of Christmas paper to use up! Thanks for this video! And yes, this would work well for any kind of 2 sided paper, since many times, one side is a smaller, quieter print. At least they are color coordinated! Time to get busy!
HI JACKIE! I LOVE THIS CARD DESIGN! I’m such a fan of using the DSP to do the work! And THIS DSP IS FREE w/an order to boot! WOOHOO! It looks so cute using ALL of the same colors but I can see them mixed, too! AND GREAT DESIGN for ANY CO-ORDINATING DSP! What a WONDERFUL way to use up that DSP! Like you, I LOVE doing the “insides”, too, along w/“something” on the envelope! COOL IDEA on the “BIG” BOW as well to give just a little more added interest! :-) TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))) Can’t wait to make some of these, too! :-)))))
Finally getting to watch this Jackie. Thank you so much for something simple yet special. I am feeling overwhelmed that I have to do every special effect for Christmas cards and watching this was so refreshing and helpful!
I like this technique. I’m almost done with my Christmas cards. I make around 25, start early in the year so I don’t feel pressure when it’s time to send them. At least that’s the plan. The reality is I find that I missed something when I recheck them before sending them out. 😂🤓🤭
Love this card idea. I have some (well lots really) of retired DSP that would make lovely birthday cards. Easy but super pretty. Always enjoy your videos.
A fabulous layout that is tried and true! One thing I do when I do this one or any with “moveable” pieces is lay down the pieces and then put a light pencil mark at the center so I know where to place accurately when I pick them up to adhere them. Otherwise I’m not so great at eye balling it!😂
Thank you for sharing. As always, all the cards you made were beautiful. The red card is my favorite! One question, when cutting the DSP, is there any type of tape that could secure the first cut made so the paper does not shift when you make the second diagonal cut?
These are amazing and so easy, thank you Jackie. By the way a big Congratulations for reaching 2 million level. You deserve all the treats. Cant wait to see your new staamp set when you make it. Xxx
OMG Jackie, your first comment today comes from Germany. As always, I like your ideas and I'm certainly going to CASE these cards. Thanks a lot for sharing all your creativity. Lots of hugs and have a nice weekend Evelyn
It's Multipurpose Liquid Glue, otherwise known as "Green Glue" or "Tombow". It's the best!! You can find it here: www.stampinup.com/products/glue-liquid-multipurpose?dbwsdemoid=1940
Great idea. Making the most of beautiful dsp.
Such an attractive and easy way to use DSP!
Love that bow underneath the sentiment. In the silver or gold it adds just a bit of sparkle.
It does add a lot! Glad you like it.
I only have twine, can you still use it?
Really loved this card!!😊
Thanks!!
Awesome . You are so quick and explain so well . Love you . Thanks for sharing

Love the design. I have been doing the envelope flap on all my cards for years plus adding a liner to the inside of the envelope. Adds a “step above”!
It sure does! So glad you liked these.
Jackie - Thank You - I LOVE THESE CARDS..... I will definitely be watching your tutorials more often..... Pat from New Hampshire
A great all occasion card design, Jackie. I'll make some autumn cards to send. Thank you for the inspiration.

Stunning cards Jackie. I will be making some of these for my stock of Christmas cards
Wonderful!

Love these cards. I've some before but they were 6x6 cards.
Love all your tutorials.
Finally getting to watch this Jackie. Thank you so much for something simple yet special. I am feeling overwhelmed that I have to do every special effect for Christmas cards and watching this was so refreshing and helpful!
It's fun to do more complicated cards but it's great to have the simple layouts too--especially when time is limited.
great cards! I'm not a very good bow maker, but the way you used it here is great (and doable) TFS. I so enjoy watching you
Great idea, my mind is on overload thinking of all the ways and all the DSP l can use to make beautiful cards. Thank you Jackie for the inspiration!
Love these cards. Simple and pretty. Also, you have beautiful hands. ❤️
I like this technique.

Easy Ieven think I might can do that

Jackie, so simple and so pretty! Thank you. I can always count on you to inspire me.
These are awesome and so easy! Thank you! ☺️
I just love this idea for all those papers I haven't used in years!! Can you give measurement for 5X7 or larger cards?
Thank you for sharing. As always, all the cards you made were beautiful. The red card is my favorite! One question, when cutting the DSP, is there any type of tape that could secure the first cut made so the paper does not shift when you make the second diagonal cut?
A small piece of washi tape should help keep them together, one toward each end of the first cut .😊
@@wendywilson1736 , thank you for sharing. I will give that a try. Have a great day😊
You can use a post it note to hold the pieces together while cutting, sometimes wash it will tear the paper…ask me how I know…lol
These are amazing and so easy, thank you Jackie. By the way a big Congratulations for reaching 2 million level. You deserve all the treats. Cant wait to see your new staamp set when you make it. Xxx
Awww, thanks so much Wendy!
Really enjoyed this layout and looking forward to trying it. Thanks for the great idea!
Great video. I've watched it a few times and plan to make Christmas cards soon. What is the name of the punch and where can I get it? Thanks.
The punch is called Label Me Lovely and you can find the punch here: s.tamp.in/slTKjo
This definitely a great card using dsp. Thank you for this video, Jackie! 😊
