- Playing Bulls versus Trail Blazers and the NBA Playoffs for the SNES (also for the Genesis). Using Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and the Chicago Bulls against Clyde Drexler, Cliff Robinson and the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1992 NBA Finals.

There were signature moves in the Lakers versus Celtics. Same series but it was a few years prior.
This game was not top notch. I hated the slow game play of this. The only cool thing about this game was the old opening EA intro before the game started. There were 8-bit basketball games that were much better than this.

My brothers and I all knew the glitch, but we'd still pretend like we'd run out the shot clock trying to find a shot and were forced to shoot it from there out of desperation 😆

I loved this game to DEATH. Constantly played it. I always wondered if the game was selective about which players could hit certain shots tho. I tried using jordan to hit 3s once. Out of the entirety of the game only nailed 2. Whereas when i used majerle on phoenix he nailed 95% of his 3s. But i have this game and bulls vs suns. My all time favorite basketball game

These games don't hold up. But younger people won't understand how important they were at the time. Celtics Vs. Lakers was such a breakthrough that many of us paid hundreds of dollars to get a better computer when it was only on PC at first.

I played this game with my brother constantly. It is extremely difficult without using either of the title teams. MJ is by far the best in the game. Such a good experience!!!

If you shoot from the bottom elbow you'll make practically every shot regardless of the defense.
Larry Bird had the Turnaround 3pointer. Mike had the kiss the rim, reverse and the switch hand layup and he had a turnaround jumper. Isaiah Thomas had the spin and behind the back lay up.

One time I remember on this I had Dan Marley firing 3s the entire game and I had it set to 8 mins. I didn't know it but by 4th his health was completely down to almost nothing and I was still using him to drill three's lol. He probably did the same in real life to lol

This game was terrible. Even in 1992. NBA Jam was released 2 years later....far superior to this. Way too slow and impossible to win unless you dunked a lot.

0:12 - Looking at this vomit-inducing title screen (done with only 16 or so colors), it looked like EA in 1991 was going to make SNES games for all eight sports. However, in the fall of 1992 (when this game was released), only three of these sports (golf, football and basketball) had their namesake games whose pictures then filled all eight tiles (as in 0:15). Lots of people (myself included) wondered, "Where are the baseball, tennis, track and field, hockey and soccer games?" By the time EA's baseball, hockey, and soccer SNES games arrived (in 1993, 1993, and 1994 respectively), EA had long abandoned this hideous title screen. BTW, the basketball player in this screen looks like he is holding a bowling ball!
