- According to the Nicene Creed, we believe in the Church that is:
1. One
2. Holy
3. Catholic
4. Apostolic
These characteristics are known as the Four Marks of the Church. Let's look at the meaning of each of the marks of the Church:
☝️ The Church is One
Just as God is one in three persons, so too is the Church one in many persons.
Many cultures exist within the one Church.
Although there is division, the Church works toward unity.
🙏 The Church is Holy
We are made into saints by Christ whose body now is the Church.
The Church leads us to holiness.
👉 The Church is Catholic
“Catholic” means universal.
Mission of the church is Catholic: to go out to the whole world.
🤝 The Church is Apostolic
The Church began with the Twelve Apostles.
The Apostles appointed bishops as their successors.
Those bishops appointed new bishops to succeed them.
We can trace all of the Church’s leadership from one bishop to the next back to the Apostles.

I didn’t know about “one”. Thanks.
Facts!
Super bro.
Wow 😳
The church may be meant to be one body one church. But, today there is division in the church, resulting in often heated disagreements among the members of the one body. At one time one body, one church existed but, not in today's world.
Ok
Unfortunately most of our apostolic leaders have left the faith for the secular world and have turned their backs on our Lord.
