5:30 it’s true. If you hit it enough, it will stunt the player which will make you drop your guard or you can shoot the players head or their feet to damage them if they have the shield which is what the Jonesy was doing to you

I'm a controller player and let me tell you what I still suck ass at the game. But it is fun to see someone who plays on keyboard and mouse try to use our set ups and understand how it can be hard to pick up just like keyboard and mouse. Lachy you did amazing tho as always and I hope you enjoy controller more as time goes on 😊 keep up the amazing content and the amazing videos you put out. But please make sure not to burn yourself out too

As a person who used to play controller, and now plays on pc, is aiming much more difficult with the bullet drop at longer ranges on controller? I know on m&k you just adjust for bullet travel time, but because of the aim assist on controller, I remember sniping was difficult with it (when you had to lead the shot) and I was wondering if it is difficult with all guns now?
As someone who plays on both, I can say controller is worse becouse of the bullet drop. I’ve been playing on controller for all my life and only recently play on pc but I can say for sure controller is harder
As someone who has played controller for years now, even on pc, I can say it’s not that much worse with the bullet drop, but it definitely isn’t any better. however in this new season I have noticed my aim is probably the best in my champ friend group (I am also champ), but they are outbuilding me for sure. Take from that what you will

You can change your controller presets but the ancon controller has an Xbox layout so try the ps5, ps4 and Xbox layouts and find out what one you like
I doupt I’ll get an answer. But I wonder what program Lauchy used to show his inputs wirelessly. Most applications for showing controller inputs make you have to have your controller plugged in to the streaming computer. (Since I play on console that’s not what I’m going for). So if I could get an answer that be awesome. But if it’s just a application along with that controller to be able to show the inputs then I guess my quest continues.
Videos like this are my favourite. Most KBM players love complaining about controller players. The act like Controllers are OP. But they won’t convert because it won’t fit their narrative once they see how bad they are with it.

Um no lmfao. Controller is way too strong. Im equally as good on both k&m and controller, I played on Xbox for 4 years, and I still have 2 Xbox controllers. Some days I play keyboard some days I play controller. I have over 1,100 wins, so it isn’t like I’m a trash player. I’ve also been playing for 6 years, and controller has always had way too much aim assist. I abuse the ever living crap out of it when I play controller because it’s so easy to aim that it takes no effort. I can also play controller without aim assist just as well, because I was sick of everyone I played with saying im only good because the aim assist is op so I learned to play without it too. Nobody else I know on controller can even hit a shot without aim assist. So there, you’re completely wrong.

I’m a controller player switching to keyboard and mouse. I got the keyboard and mouse for Christmas and Fortnite’s been a struggle. I’ve been playing for 2 days and my movement is okay so is my editing but I’m horrible at aiming and building. I wanna quit back to controller but at the same time I don’t bc I would get so much better on keyboard. If there’s any tips I’d love them
The only way I have ever played fortnite is on controller, and 9ne or two times played on a keyboard and mouse. I still can't decide which one is better, because most of my time playing fortnite has been on controller. Also, which button configuration should I use when building on keyboard and mouse?
As a controller player, I can say we don’t have it as easy as people think we do for those who are there back in chapter 2 the whole controller player thing was simultaneously the funniest thing to me and I was aggravating

I play with ps5, for me while building I think is so much more efficient because while running forward and holding the stick up and edit at the same time with down in the d-pad

Coming from a 4 years controller player, you just have to get the sensitivities right and practice, my only problem these 4 years was sens, until i found the perfect settings

Lachlan, if you’re gonna make a series out of this or you’re gonna try to get better on controller, I suggest making left stick(hold) your edit button and your O your “switch mode (from loadout to build)”, and I’m pretty sure others would agree with me, cuz the settings are either default or often used.

Hey Lachy I play on controller and I never keep my sensitivity to high because it’ll fuck up my aim, I play zero build so I focus on keeping my settings optimal for aiming. Idk if the problem is ur sens but maybe just a tip for you.
