I took an Anatomy of Aging course and to simulate cataracts, we put vaseline on the lens of our glasses.

I am also visually impaired what about 5% in one eye maybe and I believe light perception in the other maybe 10% but I do know that the left side is affected differently than the right

Hi thank you for the information about cataracts I'm going to tell you something short I had cataracts when I was born they are called congenital cataracts my mom had German Measles so that's how come I have cataracts well they don't have them anymore they were taken out when I was 2 years old they have never come back I have no lenses in my eyes at all because this was performed in 1966 Showbox and I don't think they had technology to do what they do today so thanks again for the information just wanted you to know that that children can get cataracts as babies when they are born and I don't know what the situations are when children get a bit older anyways have a good day
