Karting Campillos - Senior Rotax Onboard (on Lando Norris' Kart!)

Hop onboard with me for some laps of Wednesday's practice of the Rotax Max Challenge Winter Cup at Kart Centre Campillos! This first video of the year shows the move to the all new Lando Norris kart chassis.
The winter cup proved to be difficult, as it was my first experience in Rotax as well as my first time at the track, so a lot was to be learnt! I improved more and more as the week progressed, and ended up P6 in the final, outpacing some very good drivers. This onboard footage is not the most optimised driving, as I was to improve much more from this point, but still stands as a good sighter for anybody interested.

Tips for driving a rotax kart engine?

Be patient with the throttle application. The Rotax has a massive carb for the engine, and will require a lot more feeding of throttle in comparison to an X30
