I get it that many people are annoyed by many of the ex-pops, and I respect that. However, Murkoff are the monsters that turned these poor people into experiments. These ex-pops have become this way for a reason (except Coyle, what a psycho)
This whole arrangement of dialogue implies that Phyllis doesn't have a very solid grasp of sexuality, And if anything a heavy distaste towards it likely due to repression. As noted in various lines of dialogue noting abject disgust towards any explicit materials, And Dr. Futterman's own sarcastic disapproval of the ordeal.
She's complicated about it for sure... But on the other hand, I think most people would be pretty upset & confused to see a stranger sexually objectifying their parent, or if they made an educational kids' show and then suddenly saw some guy making hardcore rule34 material with their characters.
Since some documents mention her intentionally seducing people in prison, I get the impression she can be comfortable with sexuality when she wants, but she REALLY freaks out when her father or kid-related stuff gets used that way.

I see it as(subtle humor) hypocrisy where they like corruption of entertainment in a variety of ways but when it happens to either of them, they suddenly retract and treat it as wrong lol.
