I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

It's been so long since seeing Jimin in a practice choreography, his energy never declined throughout these years, you can feel the the professionalism and at the same time he gives a soulful performance and that's the difference with other dancers who just do the moves

the busan performance video also missed a lot of the details from the choreo because of the close-ups and bec it was hella dark and they were wearing dark clothes as well

My eyes always follow Jimin. His powerful yet smooth dance line makes him stand out. His dance line is always unique. Everyone did hip thrust but Jimin barely did instead he used his hands & upper body strongly
Jimin ate the choreo and left no crumbs. He slayed as always. And for real, my eyes just stuck on jimin even when he's at the back. He's such an amazing performer and have majestic stage presence. So coooool 💯♥️

This was a shocker when they did it immediately after MicDrop in Busan. It looked like even Suga was enjoying how well it all went … 💜 I’m a happy camper they finally dropped the dance practice so we could see it all clearly.
The “hankies”: in this dance practice Jin ended up picking it up off the floor. In the Busan performance he wadded it then threw it so a backup dancer could catch it. Someone dropped one and the backup dancers didn’t grab it, so Jimin did. I’m always impressed by their professionalism.
I'm confused why wouldn't Suga enjoy it? 😵😵 They all love what they do?
@@jekyllandcyde the running gag is Suga and RM were promised before debut they’d never have to dance. Yes, they do love what they do. “That That”, both the MV and the live performance, show just how much Suga enjoys dancing now.

Did you see the way Jin picked up the hankie(not sure if it's called that)? After he threw it, it fell in a place where it's dangerous for the members cause they could have slipped but Jin picked it up so professionally it's bearly noticeable

I really thought V slayed in the choreography as well, I was sorry that he didn’t get more props as well. This dance is by far some of the best they have done in a while. So filled with energy. They are all so in sync 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The rap line smashed it just as well as the dance line. A masterpiece for sure.

I enjoy your take on the choreography. Did you notice that after J-Hope thanked each member for their hard work they all got together to do their cheer? It's such an integral part of them that I was thrilled to see them do that in this choreo. Jin did drop the scarf in pracitice. It was a brave move to include the scarves in the routine. I was so pleased when they did the choreo for this. I presume that they knew that they would showcase it as the Busan concert right from the beginning. It was my favourite song on the album so I was amazed that it didn't have a choreo and then there it was. That top that Jimin was wearing was designed to show us his abs and a glimpse of his Nevermind tattoo. He wore a similarly loose one in the concert. They deserve an award of their own, LOL.

U should check out their rehearsals from their early days back when they were just a hip hop group- their choreo is absolutely insane, quick as hell, complicated, and so synchronized you can’t believe ur eyes. I for sure miss that intricate stuff, I won’t lie. But luckily we still have things like ON and Set Me Free w epic choreo+performances.
