Nice video job, I ran a champion 740 and then a JD 772, for several years in snow removal. Nothing beats a grader. It does a very neat and clean job, unlike city truck and tractor plows.
@@burnuts007 Same thing here. Except in Sainte-Foy, the flashing lights were orange. I'm in MTl but when I return to Q.C, I mostly see the Volvo makes and models now. I miss these 1970s-80s models. So when I watch this uploaded video of yours, I'm on cloud nine and literally over the moon. And if I'm not mistaken, you even still have these old powerful Sicard snowblower models. Lucky you! Thank you very much for your videos. Merci beaucoup cher ami!!
The only thing he has to watch is the where the end of the blade is. Not tough. Now start grading gravel roads when you have to dome and pitch them. that is skill!!
Jes operating on float, anyone can do that. This only removes surface snow. Where im from you have to remove the ice. Thats where real operating happens
Of course. Doesn't matter where you are, or what time of day or night, there will be the motoring public trying to run your ass down. Go home, people. Let us work.
Really the only thing I'd be worried about running these machines would be to hit anything on the road side. The wing plow goes quite far off the road, but you have to know where you can use it safely.
not a problem, think they sold out to volvo and closed the plant down in the early 2000's i was working close to there in exeter ontario as a driving instructor for a trucking company, we used to take the students up that way and around the factory
I really love your videos. This reminds me of my early years in Ste-Foy (ville de Québec) in the 80s. Do you also have videos of Sicard and older models of snowblowers for instance.Just wandering.. I also love trains a great deal.Merci!
I' m the one who has to thank you! You're actually an ace filmer. You shoot exactly what we like to see. I like these 1980s models and it brings back sweet memories.I surf and browse the net often times. Or go see them first hand when I return pay visits at Québec City. In Mtl, I run out of time. I've ..always been a . My whole life. I see a lot of snowblowers on RUclips. But they're often the Larue new models and make obviously. But like that too mind you. Only if you happen to film and for instance, see these Vohl, Sicard or Larue older models. But I also enjoy the new ones.So I'm content and will watch any of your new videos!
TheToyTable here... I have watched a few of you videos now. I am running toy car races. I was wondering if you wanted in a race? I have a nice snow plow with your name on it, or a Zamboni, or tractor. I will give you a shout out and a chance to win the race!
Haha. We are still rookies at this and learning as we go. Yes the grid is the track. 2 dice different colours. One says which car moves, the other says how far that car goes. First car to clear the track wins. As I say we are new and learning. We need to make some improvements like raise our camera angel to see the board better. Maybe a second camera watching the dice. Also we need to prefect our speech of the rules. And make the board look better. When I was a kid I loved board games, building toys and hot wheels. These races bring together all three. I have a 20 month year old son. So I am going to have to buy these toys anyways. My father in law aka "Jackie Stewart" LOVES cars and he just rebuilt a real 66 Chevy Bel Air, she is a beauty. See you at the races!
Also does a lot less damage if you hit manhole top or catch basin lid frost has a way of moving them not much fun with your face against the windshield

The best snow plow ever. I wish more towns would use them.
George Reigle yes they do great work! Can plow snow very good and efficiently!
Gotta love the windrows off the wing
The grader does a good job on those side streets and around the corners!
Brings back so many memories of my childhood in Sainte-Foy (Québec City area)!!! Thanks / Merci beaucoup xox.
Guy N. yes I absolutely feel the same. I remember waking up to the blue light (in Ontario) flashing thru my window and jumping up to watch them go by.

Guy N. your welcome ! Thanks very much
Good shots and filming angles! J'adore!
Thanks very much Guy appreciate it
That grader and side plow can really move a large amount of snow. Wish I could operate it even though I would damage a few cars. All the best!
Oh yeah one of the best pieces of equipment to move snow. What’s one or two cars! No one will ever know.
true professional driving that grader
Yeah! Lol sounds almost like this could be you operating this
these were the best machines to ever hit toronto streets. nowadays the snow clearing is horrible.
John Cook were these graders around before or after the army came? Lol they are great tho because they move a lot of snow
Cool video. That engine sounds awesome!
This guy is a very good grader operator. Smooth
Rob Steves hey Rob I agree very clean and smooth compared to the operator working this beat last year.
burnuts007 yeah that sucks. This guy is calm steady and does curb to curb. Really efficient
The only thing he has to watch is the where the end of the blade is. Not tough. Now start grading gravel roads when you have to dome and pitch them. that is skill!!
backwoodsbully yeah alittle different for sure! Just moving snow that’s it!

Very true and they ride our ass
Need to use ice edges , straight edges only polish it to a skating rink.
Nice video! I love snow!
New News Now thank you
Nice work . pretty easy with no vehicles to maneuver around
Absolutely agree
That is a lot of snow plowing Just stopping by again to support.
MTRUNK 85 yeah it was prob the biggest all year but pretty well all gone now! Thanks for the visit. I'm heading over
Great video thanks. Merry Christmas
Brian Fitzpatrick thanks merry Christmas
Very nice. This appears to do a better job, larger moldboard blades. I this correct ? Enjoyed Video Presentation🚜🎅🎄👍
Where’s this? Love that they clean out the driveways after they put snow in em. Elsewhere they leave it there
Longshotarcher this is in Ottawa Ontario Canada!
that is longwoood avenue!!! I live a couple blocks away!!!!
yup just like in new brunsiwck pille the snow super high close every drive way darn it
They don't clean the snow. It's the homeowners that hire snow removal contractors.
The Guy Me Thanks. Now I no where to dump my snow address please
Really the only thing I'd be worried about running these machines would be to hit anything on the road side. The wing plow goes quite far off the road, but you have to know where you can use it safely.
Like a garbage can! Lol the rage on another video over that! Yeah they are pretty good, every winter sometimes tear up the grass. Thanks for watching
I AM YOUR 2,000th subcriber . i feel honored

Awesome le . The guy there is good

They used to make those graders in Goderich Ontario
john alan yeah I just found that out when I first posted this.. thanks
not a problem, think they sold out to volvo and closed the plant down in the early 2000's i was working close to there in exeter ontario as a driving instructor for a trucking company, we used to take the students up that way and around the factory
john alan very interesting stuff too bad the plant closed up

Jean Thériault thank you! I appreciate the words! I try my best! And yeah I agree the older 1980 machine are awesome! Pure mechanical
And thy did the job too!
Two-stroke Diesel?? Has that sound.
Champion Graders usually are speced out with small to medium duty Detroit Diesels.
This machine would have a 10 litre Cummins
Awesome, Location??
Ottawa
Nice vid bro
UnKnown gaming thank you
Well done job
okum thank u
cool
Just pushing snow on top of blacktop. Can't dig into anything, just lower blade and go... fairly easy.
Nice
I subscribed
Jeremias Ortiz thanks very much! I appreciate it
burnuts007 a deal is a deal
Greater closer to the plow truck would get him out a lot easier especially on that curve been there done that

Haha. We are still rookies at this and learning as we go.

Hope the Canadians like the John Deere now that the swedes sent their designs to china
Why is he going so slow? He could go a little faster than that it seems.
scav 315 paid by the hour lol
Also does a lot less damage if you hit manhole top or catch basin lid frost has a way of moving them not much fun with your face against the windshield
That's why you put the blade in float mode.
@@scav3155 float doesn't help when you hit a high manhole or a raised concrete lip.
Done bro just promised
I love nights like this
Where is it? Great job filming the Grader.
John Z this is in the Ottawa Ontario area. Thanks very much
Done back
Cadnaan Hamari thank you very much
That fool can drive
