Dubstep is still alive, but it is not mainstream anymore. Check out some guys like Oliverse, Ray Volpe, Dex Arson, Panda Eyes, Teminite, ColBreakz... I think you'll like one of them.
Don't get me wrong, while dubstep still is an awesome genre, it will most likely never capture that same feeling it once had back when it made a huge impact on the world around the 2010 era, especially with the gaming community when they had CoD quickscope montages and other stuff.

3:10 back when this first came out i listened to this part over and over again cuz this shit seemed hella cool and I'd also watched a video around the same time where Skrillex showed how he recorded this track and that part was actually done on a launchpad by hand. legendary and nostalgic
