- This video wasn't planned, and the camera work could be better, but I wanted to share a spot here in New Mexico that doesn’t see many anglers. Brook trout are less common here than you might expect; we typically catch Brown and Rainbow trout. That made it especially exciting when I pulled the first trout out of the water.
I had hoped to talk more about my years as a wildland firefighter, but I didn't have all the details about the recent Ruidoso fire. I’ll save that topic for another time.
This year, I’m making it a goal to get out and show the world-and our customers-how we at Rocky Mountain Tenkara fish. Many of these adventures will take place in the Southwest, using our Tenkara rods. I hope we can create meaningful conversations along the way.
