Proper fireworks!, Standard made really good fireworks except for the Diamond Cascade, either i always got a faulty one or they were designed to last about 2 seconds!
@@PeterMackett I remember the diamond cascades working well when I had those selection boxes back in the early 90s, the effect as I recall were pretty much similar to the chrysanthemum fountain in those boxes kind of like a golden rain effect with small white sparks, miss those wonderful uk made touch paper fireworks, they had their own uniqueness, I grew up with those British made standard fireworks.
@@anthonyperkins7556 Yes, the standard size 12 box were up to the mid 1980s, think they introduced the size 15 around 1983 and they dropped the size 12 box in 84/5 I think.
@@jayrobthorn6847 All box sizes of fireworks were available in the 70's, as I remember seeing them as a child, under various newsagents glass display cabinets growing up as a child.
@@dcossi1 Makes sense, if you got them some years back when they weren’t considered as old they would’ve been cheaper, guess its only as they get older they go up in value.
The one without the plastic tray is circa 1994 the year just before the star boxes of the latter part of uk manufacturing, the one with the plastic tray is from around 1991/2.
Fantastic ❤
