Just bought this board from Aliexpress, so just waiting at the moment lol, but i got the princess switches that mechtech recomended, cant wait, it will be my first custom keyboard, i think i'll just lube the stabs, since the board already comes with foam, i was thinking about doing the tape mod, but i saw some people saying it could be a fire hazard because of the battery
im in love with it, its so pretty, and super good for the price. I got Princess tactiles switches (60mm springs), that have the tactile bump that i love and the keyboard sounds and feels great@@iAyyham
Man I did a mini vid on this keeb and got 4 views I’m such a W but could you recomend me tips on how to get betetr pleaseeee I’m also trying to try out the new Akko switches the lavender purple and cream black pros they look so interesting
hi there man, i just finished building my gmk67 but i face with a problem, when i plug the 2.4 usb to my pc and try turning it off, the screen is stuck on the loading page and it just keep spining and spining and wont shutdown, but its fine when i use the cable that they provide, it just only the 2.4 wireless usb, idk why this happen and idk how to fix it
BOYI is parent company or strategic parent or something to Zouya according to their q&a responses on the Amazon listings. I've also seen it sold as a CIY ESC66 (in their own packaging). And of course epomaker EK68. I know many people seem to think Zouya is the primary manufacturer, but there's no evidence to that and I find it highly unlikely. It's probably some other company nobody has heard of white labeling it to everyone.
I mean unless ur top 1% ur fine I played osu and I'm 3 digits and I was doing good. If u really care about latency etc ur only option is the wooting 60 HE
@@PrestonsThoughts thoccnology gmk67 review has a scuffed latency test that shows that the latency is as bas as their membrane keyboard, but def try it out for osu and lmk

are the switches you used in the videos lubed?
Hello everyone this is daily dose of internet
😂
That light purple with the gradient keycaps is super clean. Nice job
I have this keyboard too and honestly it sounds insane with no plate(janky plateless mod) and just plate foam with some owlab neons
Agreed it's amazing
I'm not even a purple guy, but that looks fantastic. Also plus points for the P7 Pro
Thanks! 😎

Nice should be a great build!
do you think the tape mod could becomea problem due to the battery?

this was uploaded just in time, I was researching about this board
Nice!
Love the keycaps but I got them. Feel like in person. Color is off or just me lol in pictures looks more vibrant. Then in person.
Whats the battery size in this keyboard and how many days does it last?
omagaw the quality video has gotten better! Awesome
Thanks!
Just ordered mine. Now to find some decent switches.
W
some ktt switches will do the work mate
If you want some great sounding switches that you don't have to lube, any of the Wuque Studio switches.
@@texdoc89 I got some ktt king white v3 switches.
what are some thocky/ creamy ones@@texdoc89
Yo i gotta mention akko cream blues are probably the best budget tactile switches. W choice 😅
I definitely agree! Thanks :D
:D
@@PrestonsThoughts also on thursday im making my first ever yt vid about keyboards
thanks for the helpful video! would you recommend using everglide aqua king switches on the gmk67?
Sure that could be a pretty good build!
@@PrestonsThoughtsthanks! also, do the stabilisers on the board come pre-clipped?
I like the high frequency of the stock sound more than the modded one
Great video. How is the latency on gmk67?
were those switches prelubed? Because the link you used were non-lubed switches.
They are not lubed!
@@PrestonsThoughts Also, what keycaps do you recommend for this keyboard that are on amazon for under 50 dollars?

Huh that's very weird I'd take a look at your PCs drivers and see if there is an issue there
what kind of drivers are you asking for?@@PrestonsThoughts
Whats the best budget 75% keeb you reckon? atm im looking at the ROYAL KLUDGE RK84
Monsgeek M1 RK84 isn't bad but has a horrible sounding steel plate which made me just eh with it
just ordered one off aliexpress. it was less than $27.
Does it support screw in stabs?
Where do you get the syringe of lube?
Kinetic Labs!
if i go plateless, should i buy screw in stabilizers?
You have to where would the plate mounted stabilizers go if you aren't using a plate
that was the stock switch sound?
Yup! Akko Cream blue pros stock sound amazing!
@@PrestonsThoughts that's really nice, I enjoyed the video keep it up 😂
@spxccy thanks will do!
How do I change the rgb settings? Am I supposed to download the software or is there hotkeys for it?
what happened to zouya?? i have a wine red *zuoya* gmk67? did they change names or something? mine took like a week to arrive tho
I believe the gmk67 is just a oem board and company's can buy it and attach their brand name to it, but I'm not too sure

how big latency on this keyboard? should I buy it for competitive gaming?
I mean unless ur top 1% ur fine I played osu and I'm 3 digits and I was doing good. If u really care about latency etc ur only option is the wooting 60 HE
is zuoya and boyi are the same brand? cause i already know about gmk67 but its zuoya not boyi
Bit late no? Apparently there is a new version coming with VIA
Never too late to the party 😎
@@PrestonsThoughts Yeah I did notice they dropped the price on this one. Maybe to prepare?
@AdvancedGamingYT maybe!
i got this keyboard off aliexpress for around $30

What shift sizes does it use?
1.75u
@@PrestonsThoughts For both left and right?
For right. Left is normal size shift
@@PrestonsThoughts Thanks man!
whats the best budget 65% keyboard kit?
Gmk67 or gas67
Gmk67
Is there really no alternative to using tape? Painters tape dries and becomes really stuck after months and will become more brittle.
There is always washi tape!
does this keyboard have noticeable delay for games like osu? i saw online that this board has worse than average delay
Haven't used it for osu yet where did you hear that?
@@PrestonsThoughts thoccnology gmk67 review has a scuffed latency test that shows that the latency is as bas as their membrane keyboard, but def try it out for osu and lmk
@@71320osu tried it in osu and etterna, it's latency is pretty good actually, about 1000hz
So you can actually use it wirelessly ?
Yup!
@@PrestonsThoughts how’s the battery life?
Wait a minute! Did zuoya change their name?
Not too sure. I believe the GMK is just an OEM kit that companies can buy and sell under their name
Is there a 75% of this keyboard?
Not that I know of unfortunately
This is the keyboard everyone always recommends right? I feel like I hear the word GMK67 more than other keyboard
yup this is it!
@@PrestonsThoughts thank you! going to buy this then to start my first custom build :)
@@PrestonsThoughts So which is the real GMK67? Because, there's Zouya GMK67.
Same thing
