The gamer light is a very responsive yoyo right off the bat. Its a not a yoyo you want to throw too hard. Though it is fun, and I think Rain City Skills did the right thing of trying to make it an every day carry yoyo. Very much so to play catch with yourself with. Can't seem to have lego pieces stick on it for too long with it.
out of the box its a bit jarring - I'd say that's my biggest criticism, but if you know how to set up a responsive yoyo the way you like it, its not a problem at all. Probably more of an enthusiast-level yoyo than a kids first yoyo that being said, once its set up, it plays like a dream.
