For context: in short, they were chatting with the audience about their old songs and that Toru didn't want to rap anymore, but then Taka kinda guilt-tripped him into doing it for the fans. Toru finally relented and suddenly started playing the Yume Yume intro, surprising Taka and the others.
As if that wasn't planned :D Taka likes to improvise, but not on that scale haha. I'm a bit sad that they cut it from the Luxury Disease Blu-Ray, Japanese bands like to do these things, sadly. But it's so neat that they played it once again for the fans after all these years
This is one of their oldest songs, only half song thou, you can try listening to the full song, ‘Yume Yume’. Toru rap in other song called ‘Keep it Real’ as well.
He doesn’t rap anymore now cz he said rapping while playing lead guitar is tiring 😆 but yes his voice is very suitable for rapping 😊 deep voice ❤

Toru is a main Vocallist/lead singer At first when the band was just forming in 2004. Before he met Taka and Stalker him year and half for invite Taka to join the band in 2005

This song was from their first album Zeitakubyo back in 2007. Amazing that they performed it in their Luxury Disease concert in the Tokyo Dome and it still sounds great. Toru said he wouldn't perform this song because it is hard to rap while playing the guitar. Initially he was not the lead guitarist so he was able to rap with no problem. There were 2 concerts at the Tokyo Dome and he did Yume Yume in the first concert so although he said he would not do Yume Yume again, he felt bad if he only did it for the first concert. Really love your reactions to One OK Rock.
