    Arsenal? West Ham should do a video about cockney rhyming slang..

    • @tgmartin
      @tgmartin 9 лет назад

      Arsenal are actually a lot nearer to the East End than West Ham are.

    • @ZolaMagic25
      @ZolaMagic25 9 лет назад

      But it's North London..

    • @tgmartin
      @tgmartin 9 лет назад

      It's still a lot closer to the East End. Arsenal have always had a big fanbase there. That said, Ray is from Romford, not far from West Ham

    • @ZolaMagic25
      @ZolaMagic25 9 лет назад

      My point is West Ham traditionally have a fan base from the East End. Arsenal certainly isn't the first club that's comes to mind.

  • @bkzippy8757

    Do they really speak like this in london ? :D

    • @jorgeclarkson4639
      @jorgeclarkson4639 10 лет назад +5

      Not anymore, its outdated but some people still use the odd phrase, either as a joke or as slang. It's mostly the older generation that does. Like my my mums cousin, he speaks like this sometimes.
      For instance, I have heard people call nose "Bugle".
      London is a very diverse place. And its only a very very very small percentage that talk like this and the slang is all mixed together.
      I mean I'm from London and the only thing I say that is close to this is when I get up to leave somewhere, I usually say "Right, I'm gonna bust a groove" Which is just another way of saying, "I'm going to make a move"...leave basically.
