Lyrics:
Destiny's Child, remix
You're so, you're so nasty girl
You're nasty, nasty
You's a nasty, trashy, sleazy, classless
Nasty put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out your house without your clothes on, I told ya
Girl what ya thinkin' 'bout lookin' that to' down, I told ya
These men don't want no hot female
That's been around the block female, you nasty girl
Nasty put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out your house without your clothes on, I told ya
Girl what ya thinkin' 'bout lookin' that to' down, I told ya
These men don't want no hot female
That's been around the block female, you nasty girl
Shakin' that thang on that man, lookin' all stank and nasty
Swore you look cute, girl in them dukes, booty all out lookin' trashy
Sleazy, put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out ya heezy without clothes on, I told ya
You nasty girl, you nasty, you trashy
You classless girl, you sleazy, you freaky
I never met a girl that does the things that you do
Change don't come your way, it will come back to you
Put some clothes on girl
Nasty put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out your house without your clothes on, I told ya
Girl what ya thinkin' 'bout lookin' that to' down, I told ya
These men don't want no hot female
That's been around the block female, you nasty girl
Nasty put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out your house without your clothes on, I told ya
Girl what ya thinkin' 'bout lookin' that to' down, I told ya
These men don't want no hot female
That's been around the block female, you nasty girl
Booty all out, tongue out her mouth, cleavage from here to Mexico
She walks wit a twist, one hand on her hip
When she gets wit'cha she lets it go
Nasty put some clothes on, you look so down
Nasty don't know why you, will not sit down
Boots on her feet, swear she's in heat, flirtin' wit every man she sees
Her pants hangin' low, she never says no, everyone knows she's easy
Nasty put some clothes on, you lookin' stank
Nasty where's your pride, you should be ashamed
You make it hard
For women like me who try to have some integrity
You make it hard
For girls like myself who respect themselves and have dignity
You nasty girl, you nasty, you trashy
You classless girl, you sleazy, you freaky
nasty ya nasty, freak ya freaky

Kelly Rowland’s vocals, harmony, blend, and low register range is underrated. All because we were always paying attention to someone else in the group.

This is THEE pickme anthem. They hymn this in their sleep. 😂
Not the Anthem 🤣
InstaThot Anthem
I feel like the song was more like for women to stop selling themselves short. Not being a pick me. But being more prideful and respecting themselves. No matter what they are wearing and doing .
They made this song as a response to the media critizing them. They're just mocking the media.
This song hasn’t aged well...
@Tatea the only thing trash are the lyrics of this song.
bluntobjct excuse me but shut up . What is so wrong with this anyway ?! It’s just about women having integrity , something EVERYONE lacks today
EDIT: I came here after all these months and tought about adding something . I’m not pro “bringing women down” in any way I think this song was one of those songs that is half ironic half saying the truth . I think while the song ironies the way they were seen back then , I think it also tells us that a woman can be beautiful without being trashy... after all , they can wear what they want lol
Sikers LalaTM Thank you for speaking straight FACTS 💯💯❤️
@@sikerslalatm3147 because it's putting women down. Women have integrity regardless of what they wear. What's different is that pieces of shit like you refuse to give it to them based on your arbitrary rules. If you have a ruleset for when women deserve respect based on what they wear, you don't respect them at all, you just want to control them.
Wtf!!! Bully song
I had this album when I was a kid. I never understood this song, because Beyoncé and Kelly always wore jeans and a bikini type top at this time. This video has them the most covered. 🤣 They were the "nasty girls" they were singing about 🤣
Because this was a response to critics who were saying that about them
The message of the song is that "these men don't want no hot female that's been around the block female you nasty girl", therefore you can go put some clothes on because they ain't checking for you anyway. Not she's a nasty girl because she doesn't have on any clothes or dresses too revealing. It's about her reputation and not necessarily her attire.

Nice song but they remind me of bullies especially when they were all on the couch. If someone wants to look 'nasty' doesnt mean she should be shunned and insulted
Thank you for the one sane comment on this video. Let people act/dress how they want, who are they to judge?
Just because you can do what you want, doesn’t make you free from judgement.
Yeah... That's the thing. I'm ok w/ the song. I honestly just don't think ppl view it the same...
the fact that most of y'all didn't get the sarcasm of the song is sad. this is one of my faves in the album! CLASSIC BOP.
What's sad is how clueless you are. So up Beyonce's butt and don't realize how she plays ya'll to put herself on top. If it was sarcastic or a parody, then they would be in the video as the "nasty girls" so that you see they are poking fun at themselves. And they would not have celebrated after the women became more modest. They were clearly calling women who dress sleezy and who throw themselves at men as "nasty". They said "you make it hard for women like me with integrity, who respect themselves and have dignity." They were putting themselves above others because at that time, they were young and Beyonce wasn't a crossover megastar. I bet she feels stupid that the lyrics in this song were "nasty where's your clothes you look stank. Where's your pride you should feel ashamed. you classless, you trashy you sleazy girl. Shakin' that thang on that man". She's now done the same thing to get her success, but it's not the same because she does it wearing Versace, or for a show. Back then, it really wasn't acceptable for women to dress like that. I still dont believe it is, but you shouldn't believe others are below you or voice your thoughts so loudly. But the problem is that Beyonce is making millions of dollars claiming to be something she is not. These celebrities are trained to say what their publicists tell them to say to make them look good and to sell records. She's entering all these phases and trying to act like she was always that way, but this song says it all. She was in her early 20's. We all make mistakes. But if they're saying that this was a parody or sarcasm.....then they're just straight up trying to play you. And when you fall for it, she's just taking your money laughing all the way to the bank
Bullshit
It's definitely no sarcastic.
They could and should have played it that way, but they didn't and even criedit themselves by names as having more integrity and class. This is just shaming girls who emulated their own style in and couldn't pull it off
How do people not get that it’s a joke
Kelly go hard on this 1
Can't believe people call this problematic. This is literally about morality, even though it's ironic when Beyoncé sings about it. But this and Stupid Girl by P!nk will always be timeless and unfortunately, relevant to what people do to themselves to please others
Pink actually still is inspirational, and has kept her values. Bey grinds on pole on current tour
More about reputation vs. perception. What can be said because of how you dress and people believing it when it may not even be true.

I don't know why everyone's saying Beyoncé is hypocritical. She's talking about girls who hardly wear any clothes for guys and sleep around. Beyoncé is married, and performing on stage is different. It's a PERFORMANCE.
She's not just talking about clothes. Y'all need to read between the lines. She's talking about the kind of girls who don't have respect for themselves and just sleep around, looking like trash, everyone knows the kind of girls she's talking about come on. Beyoncé never looks trashy, she might wear "short skirts" and "sexy dancing" on stage. On stage is performing, it's acting. It's clearly not the same thing.
different? please tell me how its different.why does she have to be half naked just because its a performance loool why can she not wear clothes to perform ?
DearGenovese she can and does wear clothes to perform, my point is performing on stage is acting... she's "Sasha fierce" on stage. She wouldn't just walk around everyday in most of the things she wears to perform they are stage clothes. Just like you wouldn't judge someone on a movie/tv show for wearing next to nothing because it's acting... they are performing.
lolatthisname I agree with you but its not just Beyonce in the video...don't forget the other 2 ! :)
It's more the judgment part, those girls who behave in a fashion deemed as "nasty" by someone who wears little on stage, it's performance but not all females must be attired in such a way, hence the hypocrisy, maybe good to mind one's own business on how others dress?
Even though this song is lowkey problematic yet still a bop, I think kelly should’ve had the lead on this one. Her voice sounded better imo. I was waiting for Michelle to have at least one line!

As a matter of fact, we wore some on the Soul Train Awards, but they covered our behinds and they came down a little longer than normal hot pants. We love to wear shorts and skirts, but it's got to be tasteful. It shouldn't be to the point to where you don't even hardly bend over and somebody sees your business.
