I want to seek islamic knowledge but my parents don't allow because they think there is no financial benefit in seeking knowledge. What advice whould you give me
The greatest financial gain is wealth in the mind of knowledge since knowledge gives greater means of understanding the world and how to create incomes and wealth of the heart when people love you for your goodness and character if you provided a halal service or product they will buy in masses …If you was an imam and you lead people on prayer and they’ve you wearing something they like you can be the salesperson
You can learn both islamic knowledge as well as worldy knowledge. Take it this way that in college you can do both also learn some freelancing skill to earn money .
Okay I live in Brazil, Islam represents like 1% of religions here, which is sad. That said I wanna go the scholar path and inshallah become an Imam. My city does not have a mosque, nor shayks anything, I have to travel 70 km to the closest mosque... what would be the advice of the brothers to me? Im a 37yo married man with kids

Put your trust and path to Allah
You can learn both islamic knowledge as well as worldy knowledge. Take it this way that in college you can do both also learn some freelancing skill to earn money .

You should probably try and move your house nearby that masjid, other than that. I have no idea what to tell you.
