*Some of you have asked me to make this video to show how to connect the Garmin Nav VI & TFT with Cardo headset & Cellphone. Let me know if you have any questions below...*
I have a feeling BMW has been taking notes for 2023. I hope so. This is so unacceptable that their product integration is so inept and deficit. Nice job Amer.
I hope so they are taking notes. The complain with the Nav VI has been a very long one and it's time they need to take action to fix this issue. Thank you!
Excelente tutorial, muy claro. Seguí todos los pasos y ahora tengo el Cardo, la pantalla TFT, el Nav VI y mi Iphone todos conectados. Muchas gracias desde Asunción, Paraguay, South America.
Excellent video and explanation. I have the same bike but after this type of setup, there is no connection with the cardo app on my phone. Is there a solution for this?? Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Amer, I followed your instructions but was not able to connect my Cardo Packtalk Black to my BMW R1250 GSA's TFT/NAV VI. Any chance you could write out the step-by-step description and add it to the video description or as a comment? All the best, Jeff
Hi. I was happy with your movie. Unfortunately, as it turned out in practice - there is no option for such a connection. When it connects to TFT and later with NAV VI, it unfortunately does not connect to TFT again. Packtalk cannot have two connections with mobile devices ... It recognizes both TFT and NAV VI as a telephone. What's more - when I combine my helmet and my wife with TFT, we don't hear each other. We need to be connected directly through the Cardo application.
Hi, sorry you had to go through this. Packtalk can have 2 connections. You connect one device as mobile 1 and second as mobile 2. Maybe you are doing something wrong so check again and try. I haven't tried connecting it with a pillion passenger so can't comment on that.
If it can handle two connections : 1. TFT 2. Navi You should be able to talk to your pillion using the mesh system, but won’t the able to share music or share phone calls since the two connections on the Cardo are being used. What’s the advantage of having the nav 6 on Bluetooth ?
Well I guess it’s unanimous about the issues with connection. What version software update do you have on the bike ? I have heard that the latest version helps
I have 002_007_020 software version. This was updated by the dealership last year August. I am assuming could be the new version has resolved all these issues. I will know it next month when I do my service in Edmonton.
@@richardclarke8117 Oh great! I will be leaving July 1st from Toronto to Arctic Ocean (Tuktoyaktuk). Expecting to be in Edmonton sometime July5th. Where is your dealership? Would love to drop by and say hi either while going or coming back.
@@richardclarke8117 I will keep you posted! Could be on my way to Dawson Creek when I am leaving from Edmonton. I see I will be passing by Valleyview on my way to Dawson Creek.
Question. Once the Nav VI is connected, if I input an address on my phone, will it display the route on the Nav VI and continue with the directions? Thanks
I hate it too. It feels like from stone age and horrible. I am on my 3rd replacement in less than a year. I did ask to exchange it with Garmin Xumo XT and pay the difference but they wouldn't let me. All they did was sent me a new Nav VI Refresh.

Good job getting this sorted out!
Thank you!

Thank you. Unfortunately there is no solution for that and I have the same issue when connecting my Cardo to other motorcycles as well.
OTRA PREGUNTA EL CARDO NO DEBE ESTAR CONECTADO EN NINGUN MOMENTO AL IPHONE?
puedes manejar los comandos de voz del cardo mientras esta conectado a la TFT?
Hello. Doing like your video means your packtalk is not linked to your cellphone anymore right ? Thanks !

No, it doesn't display on Nav VI. You have to manually input the address on th3 Nav.
Nav VI is crap. My friends have had over 5 replacements and it still does not work. They all purchased the Garmin XT. You need to purchase an adopter.
