I love the glossy screen on the iPad mini. I used Paperlike in the past, and the colours look faded. Is this any better these days? (I hate the Mate look)
I have a 128 gig mini 4. People spent 499.00 for a mini 6 with 64 gig. There was a 150.00 difference between that and 256 gig. On the new I pad there is a 100.00 difference. I am going to buy the 256 gig as I plan to have this iPad a long time. My 128 gig mini 4 lasted 9 years. With AI, you don't know how much memory the other apps are going to eat up so you are covered in that regard. Oh and for the people who don't think this tablet is a seller, Amazon in the UK have sold out!
I don't get all the hate the mini gets. Like you, i've tried all the sizes and just something about the mini is a perfect balance of power and convenience. It's big enough to do some quick photo or video editing or pull out anywhere to catch up on some videos. I'm excited to finally upgrade mine!
This generation of iPad mini is really solid. It's the perfect ipad for gaming and also for long reading sessions. The paperlike bundle definitely seems like something worth checking out. The A17 pro gives this ipad mini the perfect blend of power especially in the single core performance (it's even better than M2) .
It's worth noting that Apple's website doesn't officially call it the iPad (7th Generation) - it's just labeled as "iPad (A17 Pro)" so it's really just a spec bump of the 6 and even they acknowledge that. Which, you know... fine? But I wonder what they have in store for the actual 7th generation.
I’m glad someone has finally pointed that out, because it makes the most sense. And you’d think tech RUclipsrs would be the first to point this fact out in their videos. It’s definitely a spec bump for the Mini 6th Gen, not an iPad Mini 7..which would also explain why it comes in the exact same box as the Mini 6..I’d even go as far to call it iPad Mini 6.5 (A17 Pro).
60 Hz? Really? It’s the only reasonable thing that’s keeping the „Pro“ in the name(s). I’d be glad if they called this Mini pro or whatever and pay a premium for having at least 90hz like all other devices have nowadays.
I am planning to get the iPad Mini 7. I plan to use my device for the next 2-3 years. My main activities on this device will be streaming musics, youtube and netflix. Note taking & PDF reading for my work and my post grad degree. Maybe 1-2 games only. Do you thick 128GB will suffice ?
But take into account that if you are going to make use of Apple Intelligence, in the long run, 256gb is better long term not only for storage but AI performance.
A17 pro and m2 are similar but m2 is better not by a lot but it is better. I’m not sure if it’s worth it because iPad Pro m2 has 120hz and Face ID but the iPad mini doesn’t have this
Depends on whether u like to use your iPad with one hand or both hands? Do you use your iPad a lot on trains / airplanes? Or is it constantly on a desk at home?
so what Apple is telling us , is they don't care about the mini , to bad , it could of been great , guess the update we waited for was the new color lol $500 base model, gets you that beautiful 60hz washed out LCD display, and enormous bezels , not a bad deal tbh , especially since apple was nice enough to toss in the jelly scroll for free 🎉
@@FoodFighter46I own both display types and I can tell you it is NOT negligible and most do care! This is not a budget fire tablet. Paying top dollar for a 60hz display in 2024 is wild.

Nobody is mentioning Final Cut Pro works on the new iPad mini

SE 4 COMING IN MARCH AND THIS IPAD IS A BOMB BUDGET COMBO
SE 4 is going to have a more modern look and support for ai but it’s still not going to get Face ID and all the stuff rumors are saying
Does the USB type C accept a HUB with HDMI output?
Mine’s coming tomorrow. Upgrading from the 2019 5th Gen.
Thanks for the content.
I like how the mini 7 starts with 128gb of storage instead of the 64gb we had with the old one

it’ll have more coloryways 😂

No 120 hz, no mini LED/OLED
And more importantly no price increase.
Hi, can I know the difference between a WiFi version iPad mini and a WiFi + cellular version and what is the benefits of both of the models? Thank you

better buy cheaper Android tablet, don't buy apple products if not necessary they just want to print money
Yup I got the mini 6 64GB and it’s more than enough
Absolutely 128 gigs is enough for pretty much anything but 256 gigs also works
They need to shrink those bezels.
Galle issue?
The iPad mini 7 is so good I love it
iPad mini 6th gen
I use a lot but sometimes app crashes, glitches, freeze ,battery warm forcing me to restart
What if this iPad mini 7th gen is same ?
have you tried pairing it with a apple pencil 2?
It does not work
Do you think the 128GB version is enough for basic/normal use (a few games and audiobooks and sometimes some movies for travelling)?
Yup absolutely
But take into account that if you are going to make use of Apple Intelligence, in the long run, 256gb is better long term not only for storage but AI performance.
Can't wait until Justin has used the mini iPad for a few weeks and then give impressive, informational gems on its functions‼️
with the A17 pro, I feel like its the perfect gaming tablet. Small enough to use the touch controls comfortably
Yes and in some cases a slightly bigger bezel helps with accidental touches
"The New and improved A17Pro". Are we sure we are talking about the same old and especially worsend Chip for the iPad Mini?
Is is worth it to change my iPad Pro m2 for this one due to portability ? Or the m2 is way better than a17 is it a big difference ?
A17 pro and m2 are similar but m2 is better not by a lot but it is better. I’m not sure if it’s worth it because iPad Pro m2 has 120hz and Face ID but the iPad mini doesn’t have this

I travel a lot and I have the 11 in but I think this one could be more portable
Bro just keep the one you have already you have a solid iPad why give it up for the mini🤦🏻♂️
Definitely going to be using this for gaming. Now that emulators are a thing on iOS
How am I gonna charge apple pencil with this thing on
Aiyo justin, what up my G. Quick question : can i have this one? pweasesesses
Apple engineers copy pasta prev model and change packaging font to Mini 7
iJustin! 😆
We need an Android tablet in this size
just watching iPad that i can't afford🥹
Quite impressive video
Thank you!

Mini 😮😮😮 is Apple still making iPad minis
Yup, just got my mini a couple days ago
I mean it's not practical but it's pretty dope for small kids who want ipad 🗿
Still an expensive device to give to kids tho.
@@eyhtwozed2606 that's the reason i mentioned it's not practical!

60Hz in 2024 😂

Another lazy upgrade from Apple.

I wish samsung would make a mini version of their galaxy tablet…samsung tablets are SO much better than ipads.
They did and it was a catastrophe. I do have a Samsung Tab A8 (8") and only good for emailing and browsing on the web. The screen is terrible.
😁😁😁👍👍👍
Need Face ID
no one cares, nothing new
Who cares about all those new specs. Ive got the 6th gen Mini and it works like a charm.
