I grew up with the SPINNERS and when I was around 14 years old my Aunt took me to see them in concert at Six Flags LA, I fainted because of the heat standing in line. One of these nice Gentle men picked me up and carried me all the way to the First Aid Station. I will forever remember there kindness. They also pointed me out in the crowd later checking on me. I love these Guys
During the 70's and 80's only one group had more hits than the Spinners that was The Jackson 5 IT'S A SHAME THAT THE SPINNERS AREN'T IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME
Yes and no. Henry retired earlier this year ‘23, however, longtime newer members Charlton, Marvin, Jesse, Ronnie and new guy CJ are filling dates buddy as ever. Honestly, while they should not morally call themselves The Spinners, they do work under CEO Henry’s corporation, he’s an original, and if you see them, 4 of them are as close to seeing Bobby, Henry, Billy and Pervis as you’ll ever see from any other 60’s era group.
The spinners music will always be a part of my music collection there aren't any soul pop group's like them today like the temptations &4, tops Harold mevin &the blue notes& teddy p.. their will never be singing like that today im glad i was born in the 50's & heard music 🎵🎶🎵🎶 in the60's that's what you.call. Music & singing. I like some of the music of today but my generation of music is the best from jerry lee lewis... Fats... little Richard ... Chuck Berry Elvis... Ricky Nelson..buddy holly... The crystals... The ronetts the stones the Beatles & the monkees & All the Motown stars!!!! Nothing like these stArs in today!!!
Behind Dionne Warwick Taylor Dayne did the best duet with the Spinners.Joni Sledge didn’t do a bad job but her vocals were not as strong. But she definitely had great chemistry with Bobby they really liked each other
Founding member Bobby Smith (Tenor/R.I.P.) Last surviving founding member Henry Fambrough (Baritone/Retired) Pervis Jackson (Bass/R.I.P.) John Edwards (Tenor/Retired) (Replaced Philippe Wynne) Billy Henderson (Tenor) (R.I.P.)

John killing it on “Mighty Love” just as Phillipe used to.

Agree. All of them excellent ever since Chico Edwards to the present, no drop off in talent or enthusiasm on stage.

Spinners were fantastic. What year was this concert?
1977 I believe
Don’t think so, Taylor Dayne wasn’t popular til late 80s !
This appears to have been from 1993
What year was this ?
MELODY? Surely you mean MEDLEY. It’s a hits medley.
They sound the same ..
He was aicoinic
This is a MEDLEY not a “MELODY” fix the typo. 😀
been on there for 7years , its about music .not spelling mistake Thanks
Now thats real talent there, not auto box crap and playing to tracks.
