That is awesome, I always tried to make remote control cars out of my Lego but never could get a good one. This is a entirely new league, I commend you
Finished this build today myself. Manual was basically soot on most of the time. I only found about 5 moments when I noticed something off in the manual and had to solve the issue. Most times I needed to go back and take a closer look. Thinking I’m going to need to gear up the wheels in the back and reinforce the steering in the front. Not quite the off-road power I had expected. Great build.
Glad you like these videos :) I'm quite busy these days and the weather is not so good so you'll need to wait, but I'll definitely continue this series later on.
i had a brushed motor powered rally/crawler rc buggy, but sadly i ruined the gears that power the drive shaft so badly the motor ripped itself out. R.I.P Little bugger 2017-2020
Really amazing video making skills! However I really wanted to know how they were different, which one was better on what terrain,, advantages and weakneses of each one (etc) - otherwise it's not much more than a (very good) display of your camera skills.
It's like comparing apples with oranges, there's no point. The RC car wins in every aspect you listed. This is a fun drive with 2 rc cars from 2 different worlds, that's all.
love this video ,greyhound is so much fun I removed chairs fitted sbrick and (non lego lipo battery set on 10.8v) lipo battery ......I bet this little blue off roader is way lighter than lego buggy ....and stickers are fab
The blue buggy looks as if it would stop at nothing! The LEGO buggy is nicer designwise, but it cannot keep up. Still, impressive performance! Can you use one PF battery box and one BuWizz (instead of two BuWizz bricks)?
@@RacingBrick I saw that. But the screen switches right as it nears the top. Not really any footage of it doing anything that can show what it's capable of... I found a single short clip of one climbing a platform onto a couch, and then several vids of it just driving around on flat ground. It makes me think this thing isn't very capable despite having 4 drive motors. When I saw you had a video on it, and it was next to an actual RC buggy, I thought I had finaly found what I was looking for. You have a lot of cool content and one of your vids even helped correct a mistake on my Defender that I hadn't even realized I made. I was really hoping to see a little more when I saw you had made a video on it. I apologize if my original comment came off rude or anything... It was more a sigh of defeat in general about finding a preformance review on this buggy.
@@Mitsurugi2424 as I said it is not a crawler, so don't expect something like that. It has 4 motors but it is also pretty heavy, and it is geared for speed and not for torque. This means it'll be able to climb with some momentum, but otherwise behaves better on a flat surface.
I think Control+ will have a lot of benefits as the whole Powered Up system with all the new hubs and motors. I'll still have to wait and see the capabilities of the app to form an opinion on that.
this video shows why lego motors suck. THe other blue car is way faster. YOU should learn on youtube how to attach brushless motors to legos. THen you should power your lego car with them and watch it go at 20-30mph
Dude, if YOU should learn something from this video is the fact that a LEGO car is not a brushless RC car and never will be. Both have the fun factor but they are very different. There's no point to put a brushless motor in a LEGO car, the plastic parts are simply not designed for this load.
@@kkdasavage9563 honestly I don't really care what others do, if they do it well good for them. Original PF motors can already damage LEGO pieces with a little bit higher voltage, there's really no need to add brushless motors to this system.
@@RacingBrick also one other thing i hope you didn't get offended by when i said you should learn on youtube. All i meant was that it is hard to attach brushless motors to legos and the way I learnt was on youtube

Yeah (for what it's build off)
Dutch designer you know 😜

Good luck getting it😊😊

The lego greyhound looks damn amazing

The greyhound buggy would be way more fun to build, of course!
LOVE THAT DESIGN!!
My favourite youtube video.
I'm posting a knex polaris rzr with independent suspension. Sadly no steering or rc but still not bad
Did you built the frame and suspension off and earlier black Lego buggy you built? They seem similar.
No, that's not my design

Thanks, I agree it is real fun :) I also had to remove the seats as I was swapping the BuWizz units :)
well composed video!!
Thanks! :)
amazing creation and camera work dude!!
What a sweet build! I need to look up this moc!
i m thinking to buy one.. where can i buy from?

Can you use one PF battery box and one BuWizz (instead of two BuWizz bricks)?
Not possible to mix the two. You can use SBricks and RC LiPo batteries instead of the BuWizz units.
So excited!
Just ordered the JJRC one today😊😊
Thanks for the ❤️ RacingBrick!
How far can they go?
Great video! I love the way it was shot.
Nice!
I like it so much!
I wish I could find video of it doing something other than going downhill or on flat ground....
If you check it from 2:16 - when it goes down it needs to go up afterwards :) But it's not a crawler for sure

Why not? Works well

Elias Berntsson yes, but when you actually drive it fast over big bumps it works better

I think lego rc is not worth it considering the speed and price
