Best comment I’ve received on my channel so far!!! 😆 I always knew I was an Asswagon, but it’s good to have it validated by a professional on the internet 😇
I noticed a similar problem last year over on Tullos hill, traps made of boulders/logs. I cleared them when found, but they'd reappear after a few weeks. I decided to sort it more permanently, spent an afternoon lifting the debris a long way off trail into the undergrowth (fair amount of work but hey free exercise) rather than just lifting off the edge. It would have to be an extremely determined person to retrieve these now. A year later there's been no recurrence. I'd recommend you take that extra measure if it happens again.
Great job guys! And it's somehow comforting and disturbing at the same time, that there's the same kind of people seemingly anywhere in the world, that go lenghts - and even edangering others - to please their egos and hurt others. Happens here as well every now and then. You allways have to be on the lookout for artificial obstacles put on trails. But oyu guys took the positive approach and earned a great deal of Trail karma ;-) Kudos!
I bet that wasn’t meant to be sabotaged. But due to there lack of riding ability they where trying to make the roll in at the top easier as you had to pick the correct line or go head first 🤔
Countless times i've nearly been run over by MTBr's while hiking. Like you mentioned that area wouldnt be seen till to late which is what probably happened when a biker ran into a hiker there. Who in turn placed rocks on path. I hope the rocks are returned to the trail. MRBr's and cyclists are the #1 prentious assholez of all outdoor activites.
Best way to stop that, bikers stop being entitled asswagons!

rockin' video with a jammin' soundtrack 😂
Hey mate!
You're featured on front page of my channel as a suggestion. Glad to feature you!
Good fix, your trails look awesome! I've dealt with some rebar finding it's way into trails, definitely not good.
Do you have a Trailforks or Strava link to this trail? Last time I was there I couldn't find it!
Well done lads 👌👍

Moab.in Thanks for the tip! Hope this is a one off, but even if it isn’t, we’ll keep ‘em rolling!

Get some trail cameras.
Trail Traps are the worst, the amount of times I've had to drag rocks and massive logs out of a trail is annoying.
Bex Fletcher Bitter folk with nothing better to do 😖 You get nuggets like them everywhere!! Good feeling getting your trails running again tho eh?!
Don't think that was kids. Pensioners were caught sabotaging green routes in a Glasgow park last month.
