- Join me on a walking tour in Gyumri, the soulful and creative city of Armenia. In this video, I explore the local market, where you can find fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, and other delicacies. I also visit the All Saviour Church, one of the oldest churches in Gyumri, dating back to the 19th century. Next, I walk around Vartanants Square, the main square of the city, where you can see the City Hall, the Cathedral of Gyumri, and the Dzitoghtsyan Museum of National Architecture. Then, I stroll along Abovyan Street and Gorki Street, two of the most famous streets in Gyumri, where you can admire the authentic urban Armenian architecture and feel the spirit of the city. Finally, I go to the Mother Armenia Statue and the Black Fortress, two iconic landmarks that symbolize the strength and resilience of Gyumri and its people.

Gyumri is a beautiful city, which needs a lot of work. Before the earthquake it was one of the most prosperous cities in the Caucasus. Unfortunately you can still see the consequences of the earthquake, collapsed historical buildings, buildings in poor condition... In recent years the situation has improved a lot and I hope it continues like this, although what is most worrying is the construction of buildings in the old town which have nothing to do with the architecture of gyumri, new constructions near to the historical district should be regulated so that they follow the local architecture and use the black stone that so characterizes the city. greetings and thanks for the video
