You possess both the knowledge and skill set to present/represent the use of the yard max. You also have the ability to successfully work on it and with it. Something everyone doesn’t have…thanks - took a while to view this one -- went to Alaska…just returned
Thank you for the in depth info. I have a niche use for a machine like this for my small tree service. Your video has helped with my planning. All the best from the NW.
That is really a Cool little machine! I Love watching you guys use it all the time. But lets get to the Important question? Who were those Skinny young Men in all those Pictures!
If you weld on a pivoting step on the back you can stand and ride it, counter weight. When needed you can hop off and pivot the step up and out of the way.
Did not expect them to be that "inexpensive". Thanks for the review, seems like a good buy for the price. Check out the Mini Dumper from Groundhog Equipment. It's $7,000... Probably a little nicer to use, but almost 3 times the price. I'm not sure on the subject.
Yes, surprisingly the Yardmax machine are quite affordable! There are a few brands of larger dumpers that we have looked into. Our main “wants” with a larger machine are: hydraulic dump, hydrostatic drive, a rider platform and the ability to turn the dump to the sides. Unfortunately all of those options drive the price up to some crazy numbers. Maybe one day!
Thanks for making this video. I have been considering the 8103 model to haul dirt out of a basement and up some concrete stairs. You answered my question about it handling stairs. I have a second question. Do you have the front plow blade? I hear it is not great for dirt (and that's fine for me) but I want to use it as a little snow plow. Any thoughts?
It will definitely climb stairs. The only small issue is with the skid plate in the back hitting the ground when the front of the machine lifts onto the stairs. Some 2x lumber under the tracks prior to the stairs eliminates that issue. For the plow, we dont have one, but we have used our machine to push and pull some large objects. It has no issue moving weight, so I wouldn’t be concerned about plowing. You can add weight to the bed for more traction if needed as well.
Very nice video, the best about minitransporter I've ever found. Good job!

We love our little machine! Those skinny men are long gone 😂

We have thought about doing something like that! Maybe over the winter we can fabricate something.

have you added grease to the gear box?
The gearbox takes gear oil. We have changed it before.
Does it still have the original tracks and rollers?
Yep, all original
mine was working great until my tracks keep coming off. Do you have that issue
Make sure that your tracks are tensioned properly with the large bolts under the dump body.
