Ken Heron I just watched this video and it's amazing how much you have improved over the yrs. It's an inspiration to people like myself who have followed you over the yrs to know that if we keep at it we will improve to.
No, Thank you" I hadn't seen Birmingham in forty two years and even then, never that beautiful. Your video should be used by the city as a come visit feature, It made me want to see it again !!
As I go back in time with you, I'm learning to appreciate how your flying skills have evolved. Once again, I say, inspiring. If you can do it, I can do it. [Tip of the hat to #EveryDayDad for that fun phrase]
i lived in a lot of cities around the world , but when I saw this city on google street I liked it . It has beautiful hells like istanbul it's green like kuala lampur multucultural like dubai I'll live in birmingham
I hear that Americans can't live in the same city forever I'd think because the US is a large country It's fun to live in different places Only once did I visit a western country, it was Malta , near Italy , I was on holiday with my family
Ken Heron A friend of mine just got a drone here in Bhm and is curious what the drone laws are. From what I’ve read, you just have to register the drone but there aren’t any flight restrictions but it sounds like that may not be the case?
Awesome drone footage man. I am shooting a lifestyle show for Fox right now and was curious if we could use your footage for a promo reel that we are creating.
+free Bethlehem That's Vulcan. The god of fire. Birmingham has a history of iron (furnaces). Vulcan is the largest cast iron statue in the world. The statue sits atop Red Mountain (which gets its name from iron, rusty iron to be exact, hence the red part of the name). It gets HOT in the summer. Most days are 90-100f or 32-38c in the summer, and VERY humid. Some days it's almost unbearable to go outside, and that's coming from someone who was born and raised here. If you do come here, plan a trip sometime between October and March, when the temps are much nicer. Our winters are mostly mild, with night time lows typically just below freezing. Some snow every now and then, but compared to most places in Canada, it's nothing.
It's very comfortable here in March/April, full spring, and just beautiful. Good food, a growing number of breweries, quite a few museums, two wooded parks each with 1000+ acres of woods and mining remains. C'mon down.

ZyklonB95 I live in Vestavia Hills, a suburb and I do cross country. I have to run 6 miles in that heat😂
I’m in Vestavia Hills as well and It’s October now and still over 90*F outside during the day :/

How close can you get to vulcan for filming shots?
You can get pretty Vulcan close.
lmaooooooo why you have to get the Vulcan's cheeks like that #205
Mr. Vulcan is mooning Homewood! 😉
Why are his cheeks out lol
Because he's a Roman God and can wear whatever he wants. 😁
