- On a summer afternoon in late July, throngs of baseball fans in orange jerseys made their way along the Embarcadero, headed to hopefully see the Giants win at Oracle Park. One of those fans, however, wasn’t destined for a reserved seat in the stadium-instead, he headed straight for the salty waters of McCovey Cove.
Dave 'McCovey Cove Dave' Edlund is a ball hawker-someone who attends professional baseball games to try and collect as many souvenir balls from the game as possible. While ball hawking is practiced around the nation, Edlund's time at Giants game are unique-since he waits patiently floating on a kayak in the middle of McCovey Cove.

Is he the one who caught someone's 250th career home run? One of my co-workers told me someone caught or has this MLB Player's 250th career home run...
I once grabbed Carlos Beltrans 300th and Charlie Blackmons 200th and gave them to the players as their keepsake
Yikes
