I love this song, It makes me think of the beautiful past. Chloe, little Maddie, Paige, Brooke, little Kenzie, little Nia.. Maddie's career. I don't know why but this makes me cry inside and dance. It makes me think of the OLD Dance Moms. It's perfect.

Maddie is the reason I LOVE this song. Her face expression and emotion she shows while dancing is unbelievable. She's such a talented girl and she's really worked hard for everything she's received. She's going places in life, and those other mothers should be supportive of her instead of finding ways to make it look like everything is a set up.

Although I sometimes feel I can relate to the lyrics, I'm not going to say i'm depressed because I'm not. When somebody has a bad day, it is understandable that at that time you feel you can relate, but to come here after one bad day and say you have depression is almost an insult to all those who actually do.

Holly Hedge - This is so random and i don't know how this relates but this song reminds me of how much I've been through in my life and my guy best friend who is actually my cousin and he's like a brother to me... This song makes me think of him and how he's been there for me through everything I am so grateful to have him in my life I do tell him how lucky I am to have him in my life, how much I love having him around, how much he means to me, and that I do love him... He knows how much he means to me I never wanna lose him again and I hope I never do

This song makes me feel so happy and bright inside. When I hear this song I don't want to do anything but cry. I'm serious I really do cry.
This song just speaks to me, I relate to it in many ways. My grandpa has cancer and will die soon, my dad is abusive, and my mom is thinking about breaking up with him. My friend picked my sister over me, my best friend doesn't trust me, she also has severe anxiety and I can't do anything about it.

Wow, it's been almost a year since I posted this comment. Things have only gotten worse. My Mom broke up with my Dad and it's horrible. I have to go over to his house and he's acting like he never did anything, which feels horrible. I lost my Grandpa, he's gone. My friend stopped talking to me, and I haven't spoken to my best friend in months, I don't even consider her my friend anymore. I have no friends, I have no one. I have severe depression and I can barely get out of bed in the morning. I wanna die.

Heres some fricken news for you, depression is not when your boyfriend that you've had for a week breaks up with you, thats what we like to call sadness. Depression is a mental disorder that makes you you physically unable be happy.For all you people who do suffer from legitimate depression, im sorry that you have to be mocked by these "depressed" people and I hope you can overcome this dredful disorder. every day several people are diagnosed with clinical depression. so it is very possible that all of those teens have depression. I do agree with you that should not be used loosely though. it is very serious and requires counseling and medicine.

Seriously? The amount of 12-15 year olds in the comments claiming this song is "their lives" and that they are "depressed"? I am shocked. Depression is not just a term that can be used so loosely. It is a serious mental health condition. Think before you speak. You could be harming others.
I agree👍 I'm 17 and i suffer with anxiety and depression and i have since i was about 13-14. My depression has gotten so bad at times I've harmed myself and not the way chavs harm themselves by cutting there wrists. I have been in a mental health institution a few times because of my depression.
I have also just read a comment a girl wrote claiming she was "depressed" because a true rumour got out about her kissing a girl... Sorry. But that is not depression. Thats just being upset that her true little rumour got out and people now know, that is not even close to depression!
People also think by listening to a sad song that it makes them feel "depressed". Who ever thinks this song makes them depressed well i wish you could me for just 1 day then you will know the true meaning and feeling of depression.
I'm in the same boat. I'm going on 18 and on more medications than I know. I infuriates me so much to see people making those claims which have no substance. You're right, walk a day in our shoes and see how far you get. Also, that girl who kissed the other girl has "cried three times". What you think about that one? Ha.
It infuriates me to, and half of these people wouldn't even make it half a day in are shoes. Thats what annoys me they think they know what depression is but they don't have the slightest clue until they experience it for themselves. And about that girl who cried 3 times. 😂 That made me laugh a little when i read that. People like us with depression cry countless times a day. And she is there complaining that she cried 3 times all i can do is laugh at that she must have such a easy life if thats what makes her think she is depressed. She and others will forget about her kissing that girl, but we will never forget our depression.

I feel like this what describes the girls on dance moms their all so focused on being perfect and getting it right some of them like Maddie were overcome with the feeling that they had to get first place every single dance. This feeling is probably why half of them quit it was too stressful...

This song expresses me. My parents recently got a divorce and my dad got a girlfriend and doesn’t care about me, my mom, and my brother. I suffer from ADHD, depression, and anxiety, and I was suicidal for a really long time. I cut myself a lot and almost attempted suicide but I’m glad I didn’t do it, I have so much good to come in life, and you all do too!! Don’t give up on life, even when it gets really hard.
I love this song so much! It helps me to get rid of all my sadness and just let it all out. I also love Maddie and Kenzies dances to this song.

It doesn't matter during Kenzie's I felt a lot more than when maddie did it. The backdrop on maddies was too happy but the footage when Kenzie did it was darker , blue and sad. It was more of a presentation than maddie. I also think Kenzie might've done better because she is sad that she is compared to maddie as for maddie is always on the top of the pyramid. Is worshipped by her dance teacher. Her mom. Everyone. Kenzie was just compared.
