    Those spike fences are mostly found in old homes that have been built 40-50 years ago. Bangkok wasn't as safe as it is today. Most new developments don't have this feature anymore. Aside from not having a proper sidewalk in the small alleys, those V shape gutters are a nightmare to walk around when it is raining. People have sprained their ankles from this bad design.

    Interesting video, you have good points and knowledge about this topic so please keep making such videos where ever you go. I can see that they clearly don't generate as much views as other topics, so I understand if you might not have energy to continue so frequently. But if you do, there are random internet strangers who will appreciate it :) This is the best thing about the internet, people sharing some meaningful thoughts to each other, no matter the nationality or location.

    Thai don't like to walk even short distance because the heat.
